Wolfe had just recently received his first Pokémon from his superiors after being given a Totodile from his parents. He was told to not release the Pokémon in the Pokéball until he either ran into trouble that his Totodile could not handle or they allow him. Speaking of his superiors, he was currently in Littleroot Town with the instructions to train to get used to his Totodile. So, Wolfe was here with Quartermaster, "Q", looking for something he could train with. Maybe he could run into a wild Pokémon that he could use to strength his team.
Meanwhile, Q was outside of his Pokéball looking at his trainer Zale trying to figure out what he was thinking. Q was just happy that his trainer allowed him to walk besides him. He was so happy that his arms could not stay still and were waving up and down at his sides.

Looking for a Wild Pokémon that would allow Quartermaster to grow in strength. Quartermaster is happy.
It'd been a while since she'd managed to sneak into one of the houses around here to leech on their electricity. Around these parts she was considered quite a pest and was often quickly shooed away.
Downcast and with a rumbly tummy, the young joltik scurried past the trainer and totodile slowly, too preoccupied with securing her next meal to care.
A wild joltik has appeared! Joltik is friendly around humans!
Wolfe was looking down towards Q and smiled due to the happiness that he showed to him. While he was looking at Q, Wolfe would notice a yellow blob running past Q and himself. Looking at the blob, Wolfe would instantly recognize that the yellow blob was in fact a Joltik. Being in a somewhat urban area, he knew that not that many people would try to take on the Joltik. Having one of those would help him with his superiors. So, Wolfe decided he would weaken this electric bug and catch it.
Wolfe would then look at Q and say, "Q get that bug's attention with a Scratch attack." Q would happily nod and run after the Joltik. When he got into range, Q would ready one of his claws and slash at the Joltik with his Scratch attack.
The small bug squeaked in surprise as a totodile came hurtling out of nowhere to attack her. She'd been minding her own business! W-Why was she being attacked?
The joltik backed away from the water type, her beady blue eyes narrowing as she took up a defensive position and sent a paralysing electrical attack after her assailant.
Joltik was hit by scratch! Joltik used thunder wave!
Now that he had the Joltik's attention, Wolfe would attempt to persude the electric bug to join his team. And if that failed, then he would just have to hope that Quartermaster would be able to knock the Joltik out, so he could successfully capture the bug without taking any more attacks that would hinder Q further.
Wolfe would walk up to Q and bend down to look at the Joltik in the eyes and say, "I am sorry I had Q here attack you, but I was afraid that you would run away if I tried to get your attention any other way. You look like you are a very strong Pokémon. I would love for you to join me on my journey. I would promise to feed you plenty." Wolfe would then take out a Pokéball and show it to the Joltik. He did not know if the wild Pokémon would understand him, but he wanted to at least try to be friend it first before having to work on their friendship later after he captures it. Should the bug decide to join him, then he would gladly capture it. However should the Joltik decline, then he would order Q to perform another Scratch attack on the Joltik.
● Zale would attempt to convince the Joltik to join his team without any more fighting. ● Should the Joltik decide to join him, Zale would throw a Pokéball at the Joltik. ● Should the Joltik decide to decline the invite, then Q would slowly make his way to the bug to perform another Scratch attack.
B-But... this human had just ordered his pokémon to hurt her? That was hardly inspiring trust for him, although he did promise nice things. She scuttled backwards a little, timid and unsure. How did she know that this wasn't just a trick for her to lower her guard? And he'd get his pokémon to hurt her again?
Her little pincers clicked and, warily, she stepped closer to the human. Would he keep his word? Would he feed her always?
Cautious of being attacked again, the joltik reached the trainer's trouser leg and began running the hem of his trousers through her pincers, looking for static electricity to snack on.
Wolfe would smile at the Joltik when it started to make its way to him. Maybe, this will get him the Joltik and Q would not have to worry about his Paralysis in battle much longer.
Meanwhile, Quartermaster was about to ready for another Scratch attack when the electric spider started to move closer to his trainer, but he stopped when he saw his trainer hold out a hand. He would not attack right now, but he would if the bug decided to do something to his trainer.
After showing the stop signal to Q, Wolfe would take his hand to the leg that the Joltik was attach to and rub his pants in hopes of creating enough static electricity that the electric bug would be satisfied. Wolfe would then wait until the Joltik look at him before showing the bug the Pokéball again. He would say, "If you would like to join me, then all you need is to get into this ball."
Should the Joltik accept the offer, then Wolfe would toss the ball at the Joltik.
● Zale would stop Q from attacking. ● Zale would attempt to generate static electricity by rubbing his pants leg. ● Zale would offer a Pokéball to the Joltik if she decided to join him.
The joltik jumped slightly in surprise when the apparently kind trainer began rubbing his trousers but... on feeling a tickle of static electricity on her pincers, she looked up at him with wide eyes. For her?
The young bug gobbled up the little static she could get out of Zale's trouser materal, it being not even enough to be considered a snack but it'd made the joltik less wary about him. He seemed... not so bad.
"...Jol." She said quietly, accepting the man's offer after a little internal debate. Maybe he'd actually get her some more food!
Joltik accepts to go with Zale! Joltik can be captured!
Wolfe took the Pokéball and tossed it at the Joltik. He would see that the Joltik did not fight in the Pokéball and it was successfully caught. After a few seconds, Wolfe would say, "I shall name you Skippi." He did not know how he came up with the name, but it seemed to fit the female Joltik.
Now that he has caught the Joltik, Wolfe would look at Q and see that he was still paralyzed. After rummaging through his bag, Wolfe would fish out a Full Heal and say, "Stay still while I heal you." A quick spray later, Q would be happy and no longer paralyzed. Now that Q could continue battling if neccesary, Wolfe continued walking around Littleroot Town. He hoped that he would find something that he could either add to his team or something he could train Q with.
A small scaley ball, coiled tightly, rolled into Zale's path. It did nothing else. It just sat there, in a ball, and didn't move further. Did it want to play? Was it even awake? It was hard to tell right now.
It was... breathing, at least, right?
A wild sandshrew has appeared... sort of. What will Zale do?
Wolfe would see a scaley ball roll in front of him. It looked somewhat like the Pokemon Sandshrew. Since he waited to train Q, Wolfe would say to Q, "Q go Scratch that ball until it pops."
Q would jump happily at the chance and ran staight to the Sandshrew. He would then hit the Sandshrew with two Scratch attacks.
On receiving the attacks, the tightly coiled ball unfurled and jumped up! Despite being attacked, the sandshrew that emerged looked quite... dozy. As if he'd just been asleep. But that dreamy expression was mixed with an understandable ire at being disturbed so rudely!
The sandshrew thought it'd only be fit to retaliate!
He went for the little water-type without a moment's hesitation, throwing venomous spines at the totodile
Sandshrew was disturbed! Sandshrew is aggressive!
Sandshrew was hit by scratch! Sandshrew was hit by scratch! Sandshrew was used poison sting! Sandshrew was used poison sting!
Wolfe would watch Q get hit by two moves that looked like Poison Sting after two Scratches landed on the transformed ball. The Sandshrew that stood in front of Q seemed to be very aggressive. Maybe it was a bad idea to attacking the shrew? Nah. Wolfe would once again order Q to attack. "Q attack that Sandshrew with two more Scratch attacks."
Q did not like the feeling of those attacks that landed, but he was not that effected by the poison attack to feel sick. That was why he just nodded and run to the Sandshrew to land two more Scratches on the shrew.
On seeing the next round of scratches heading his way, the sandshrew curled up into a defensive ball to take them. He could feel the totodile's claws scrape against his armoured body and the sensation was unsettling. It fed his anger though.
Totodile liked to scratch? Well, he could do that too!
The sandshrew uncurled again and lunged for the little croc with his arms outstretched and claws at the ready.
Sandshrew used defense curl! Sandshrew was hit by scratch! Sandshrew was hit by scratch! Sandshrew used scratch!
Wolfe watched as the Sandshrew withdrew into a ball before Q would hit it with his two Scratch attacks. Then, the Sandshrew would land its retaliation of its own Scratch attack. The Sandshrew did not look that phased compared to the previous two Scratches. It also seemed that the Scratch attack did more damage than the previous hits on Q. He did not like it, but he would notice that Q seemed to still be good enough health to continue the battle without assistance.
Would would then order Q to attack once more, "Q use Scracth attack twice more." He needed to see how the Sandshrew would react to another barrage of Scratches before he decided to change things up.
