Currently Samantha’s soul stands as incognito, although she always stays true and fair during her fights. She threw her protected knuckles against the wooden surface repeatedly, under the airy shadow of her opponent. Kane stood by her side throwing the same punches, miniature ones, at least. Samantha is aware her pokemon is not the fighting type and she has stated that before. Solely, making moves on a daily basis like the ones she has taught her would still improve her companion’s skills, besides it is absolutely adorable. The woods in the entrance of Littleroot town were completely silent early in the morning, except for their intensive warm up. She took breaks every now and then, mostly to check on Kane and make sure she wasn’t exceeding herself or her pokemon. On the last check-up, Kane called for a longer break to eat the fruit she’d gathered when they first arrived. “This is delicious, Kane.” Sam thankfully noted with a broad smile. Before Kane’s first bite she sensed someone in the area and Samantha caught the smallest of noises coming from the same direction, she remained resting on her log, watching carefully for any wild creatures. “It’s alright. Keep eating, so we can continue.” Her voice came the loveliest as possible, winking at her fellow friend.

an absol and luxio sprung from a collection of piled foliage that covered a nearby bramble. ignoring the human and her little dragon in favor on focusing on their present conflict, the pair proceeded to tumble and roll before they parted. the electric-type snapped her jaws threateningly while the absol batted at the fierce feline with a low growl so to keep her at bay as she inched closer.
"lux!"
"ab!"
"lux! lux!"
"absol!"
"yo! calm the fuck down!"
a slim girl composed of lean muscle and covered in a dark skirt and top appeared shortly afterward, her eyes on the quarreling pair as she approached. when only beerus, her absol, spared his mistress a glance she groaned in frustration.
"this shit ain't gonna fly."
practice had resulted in an incident - with beerus's mishap result in a rough collision that left her luxio infuriated. with a low hiss, andrea decided to rely upon simple commands to force obedience. she snapped her fingers, made a clicking noise and gestured.
"down."
tanya bared her teeth at first.
"down. tanya. down."
the pokemon eventually flopped onto her belly with an irritated growl escaping her. andrea took notice to the girl afterward, and appeared somewhat anxious because of it.
"oh. shit. sorry. didn't mean ta interrupt yer meal."
Feisty fingers half attired with bloodied fabric crossed loose hair locks, motion given after the unexpected appearance spoke with regard. "It’s okay, you didn’t.” Samantha stood up the second they showed, an presentation would only seem fair, since the other looked apologetic enough. “I’m Samantha. And this tiny lady here is Kane.” She gestures towards the pokemon attached to the side of her right shoulder whom gave in a squeak, manifesting a less startled self than when she first detected them. “Would you all like some?” The peak of her brows demonstrated her honest intention, completing with a tad grin and a tilt of head to indicate the fruit basket. “Kane picked them all. She’s honestly the best at it.” Orbs travelled throughout the field, admiring what she’s assumed would be the girl’s pokemon, at their very best obeying her commands and appearing to be as powerful.

"huh."
andrea's gaze drifted from the offered basket of natural sweets to the woman. she appeared rough around the edges - but in all the right ways. there was a simple beauty there that caused the coordinator to feel pleasantly warm as her gaze wandered.
"sure."
she produced the luxio's capsule and scowled at the electric-type feline as she aimed.
"we'll discuss this shit, later."
once tanya had been successfully recalled to her pokeball, andrea approached the recently-introduced samantha and kane.
"cute starter ya got there," the coordinator commented. "she looks pretty young."
noibat weren't terribly common. but they were ridiculously popular among trainers - so much so that a majority would spend a pretty penny just to acquire one.
"i remember when i just got mine. two months ago, i think," she said, grunting as she took a seat on the grassy forest floor after she had claimed two berries.
"ab!"
the pokemon craned his neck to capture the fruit in his mouth as andrea tossed it in his direction.
"name's andrea warren. and this is beerus, my absol. ya a freshie? haven't seen ya around before."
Naturally after her ego was caressed, Kane had eased the tight grip on Sam’s leafy sleeveless shirt, hence the partial fault on her broad smile. "Well, just by looking, your absol looks so graceful, oh and your- luxio, was it? Impressive.” The other half raised when she’d captured the other’s short history, repeating the motion and sitting back, elbow settling on her leg joint, firmly having her chin resting on her hand. “Andrea.” She vanished for a fracture of second, pondering how the other’s name flew swiftly without her consent, her steady eyes previously focused on the anew beerus and its glup after catching the berry landed on its trainer, regaining full composure. “Ah- Yes.” She lifted her hand, with the frabric still dirty from all the training whilst straightening her posture. “That’s me. Out of the nest, ready for some action.” Samantha let out a chuckle during the closure of her small statement. She ponders again, on why didn’t she work on her people’s skills before coming out, but never gave in on appealing to a silly smile. She clears her throat roughly to continue. “What was yours if you don’t mind me asking? Your first pokemon.”

the coordinator grinned in response to the girl's good attitude.
"froakie. i gotta froakie. well, he's evolved now. i hope he turns into a greninja before long."
andrea bit into the berry, delighting in its sweet and simple taste. it had been a lengthy while since she indulged in nature's bounty. typically, she dealt with processed foods or ingredients when it came to dish preparation and consumption. this would be good in a pie.
she eyed the berry, making sure to remember its appearance and taste before consuming the rest in a few bites. licking her fingers free of clinging stickiness, she looked to her absol who had already finished off his snack.
"so. lookin' ta train and catch pokemon too, right?"
she chuckled.
"i stopped capturin' fer a bit. i'm just trainin' what i got fer now. need ta collect a few more badges, too."
"absol."
the dark-type approached samantha and her little dragoness, sniffing at the pair curiously. he eventually pressed closer, offering the adorable kane a swift lick.
"where ya from?" andrea asked, taking a genuine interest in the girl.
“A frogadier!” Water-type pokemon has always been one of her weakest spots, not for the thought of someday training with one, but observing a performance of their bond with one of the natural elements, her favorite one. “– I really hope he does too. Sounds amazing to have one as your starter, I can only imagine.” If not controlled, she would have been asking for her number to get daily updates on his improvement. A moment passed on the clock and the air shifted its course, drawing left and right chocolate locks as her pulse eased and she was able to calmly nod to the mention of the definition of her journey. “You do seem to have a pretty decent team. Seeing now it is just me and Kane and I’m already over-protective towards her, you must feel like you have a hundred children.” She mouths in endearment, watching her absol afterwards. Samantha leaned an inch further when she noticed the curious pokémon. Gaze landed on Kane whom promptly oversaw every move, Sam send her a comforting look and whispered a soft c’mon in her direction. “And we both are very pleased to meet you, dearest Beerus.” She turned to his trainer, leaving be the duo to get to know each other and focus on Andrea’s quests. “Born in Mossdeep, but spent my last eight years here in Littleroot. My grandma's home.” Lips slowly quirked kindly at the other, and the sight of their two pokemons. “What about you?” Sam returns the query, as interesting as her life isn’t, the woman’s had to be something other than the usual.

"children, huh?"
the girl tapped her temple as she considered the term.
"yer kinda right, there. that reminds me! beerus! get my bag!"
the pokemon retreated a step before obediently darting away to locate and return his mistress's possession. once he was gone, andrea fell back with a quiet grunt. peering up at the sky, she thought of what she had planned today - outside of practice, of course. once samantha requested knowledge regarding her origins, the corners of coordinator's lips twitched upward.
"'mm from lilycove city. i was born and raised there. mossdeep... heard 'o that place. but never bothered ta visit. i'll get there, eventually. but i'll need a boat ta reach it."
beerus arrived with her stuffed pack moments later, setting it down gingerly before the girl. andrea sat up, tugged at the zipper, and revealed a small glass case. an egg resided within.
"i just got this 'lil one," andrea said.
she gingerly plucked the egg from its casing and offered it to the other woman for holding, a warm look on her face.
Mossdeep’s mention sickened her to the stomach, in a nostalgic matter and the established thought she doesn’t have the same access to the city compared to eight years in the past. Andrea’s voice ringed on top of it all, recalling the rookie trainer to hold on to the present, and enjoy her kindest. Samantha had no expectations whatsoever, besides patiently staring down at the younger woman’s pack for the announcement of the mysterious gathering. A sudden request was made as an egg was held before her. It painted violet and rose on several edges, she named it magnificent in her head. “You want me to hold it?” The genuine surprise modified her features into a stretch of brows. She wouldn’t want to keep her waiting, still needing to prepare herself. “Just. One. Second.” Samantha paused each word, promptly unwrapping the fabric around her fists to behold the creature yet to be born. Automatically rubbing her hands together in a soft friction, small wounds already closed, before reaching for the extended egg. Samantha attentively obtained a controlled grip as fingers slightly tapped into the other's. “It’s amazing, Andrea. I’ve never seen one before.” Kane peeked from a safe distance, jumping forward every now and then to get a closer look. The Pearson’s daughter, however, eyed the owner smirking due to aforesaid moment. “Kinda looks like you Kane. With fashionable pink dots.” She played, giving her a wide turn of lips. The only response she got was a muffled endorsement of said comment.
satisfied by the girl's response, both coordinator and pokemon looked on as samantha delighted in the egg's warmth. it would be hatching in a couple of days, and andrea was positively ecstatic to have a ghost-type as a cherished member of her team.
"'mm really lookin' forward ta it joinin' us, yeah?"
she held out her hands. and, once the egg had been safely returned she placed it in the glass case, sealed the container, and returned it to her bag. andrea peered in the adorable dragon's direction, a small smile on her face.
"hey... lemme do ya a solid, samantha."
the coordinator reached out a hand, beckoning the tiny pokemon forward.
"c'mere, lil' one. i got somethin' fer ya."
andrea produced a disc containing a tm. the charcoal-colored item a considerably rare sight. the absol looked on curiously, having recognized the device that enabled him to learn such a powerful move. then moved toward the little dragoness, her motions slow and careful.
"stay still, baby. this'll help ya out in the long run."
she spared samantha a glance. and, boldly, moved to press the contained disc against the tiny dragon's forehead.
"this'll let ya use the move dark pulse. it's up ta ya if ya wanna keep it or not."
"ab..."
beerus glanced at the new trainer, curious to how she would react to the attempted teaching.
[ coordinator andrea intends to teach kane 'dark pulse'! accept or prevent? ]
To every step taken and a glance from Kane seeking for assurance, Samantha relied on the one she had just met her lovable starter. The resourceful couple was eyed in kindness, soon as curiosity had been lifted after the woman’s explanation. Led by Samantha’s undying grin, her partner sought for the silhouette once more and towards her the trainer reached, caressing the top of her head. She voiced lightly: “Go on.” Anticipation had Sam’s lower lip trapped between her front teeth and a crooked head close to falling. The dark skill was shared with ease when Kane’s tension left her muscles and she stood with grace to be gifted. “How do you feel?” The dragon-type pokemon seemed bewildered. Before Samantha almost surpassing air to check on her companion, the other cried out gleefully. The trainer exhaled sharply due the timing. “What do you say then?” The flying type shrieked in a gratitude note, wings already in course as she circled the field above them. “That was very kind of you, Andrea. Thank you.” Excitement worked her distinct body as appreciation marked her frame into a full-mouthed smile. The short duration of such emotion by her part came crashing as orbs searched each corner to her loose trousers and green tank top, in realization: She had nothing to offer as courtesy. “How can I pay you back?” She gave it a better thought, chuckle still flowing along an arched brow full of wonder.

she smiled brightly in response to the pokemon's thankful attitude. it was always good to boost 'em up they were young - they gained confidence fairly quickly that way.
"and it won't cost ya much, at all."
andrea's gaze shifted toward the tiny bat, and her grin only widened as an idea bounced around within her skull.
"yer a trainer, yeah? and what do trainers do best? they train."
she stood with a quiet grunt, stretching a bit before looking to her absol before shaking her head.
"beerus is a lil' too much fer her. at least fer now," she muttered. "maybe one of my more inexperienced pokemon, then?"
andrea plucked a capsule from her belt, and introduced a purple creature that blinked before eying his surroundings curiously.
"this is fiore. my stunky. i'm sure he'd love ta battle ya if yer willin' ta accept."
