So the girl jogged up to him by his boat, his jolly face shining in the sunlight. "you said you could take me to Dewford too, right?" she asked him, practically beaming. She couldn't wait to continue her journey through Hoenn. "Would you mind giving me a ride?"
Hopefully this would be just as enjoyable as the ride to Slateport. |

"Mr. Briney! It's me, Dmitri." He humbly intruded, trying to discover where in the world Mr. Briney was. When he got inside, he found the old geezer chasing his wingull around like usual.
"This is Usa, you might have met him before. We'd like to sail for Dewford, please!" Mr. Briney was beginning to grow on Dmitri; it wasn't often such an older gentleman was so kind and compassionate towards pokemon. They usually grew more bitter, as the years passed them by.
"So, how soon can we set sail?!" Mr. Briney had already caught up with wingull, who grew reluctant to play around at shore whenever a chance to go across the open seas appeared.

| In response to Dmitri's introduction, Usa gave a slight bow to show his respects to the man whose services they desperately needed. With Absol close by his side, he peered around the beach to see who else was there. Not that there was a high chance he would see anyone he knew...he didn't know that many people. He smiled softly as he looked over at Dmitri. Meanwhile, Absol did the best it could to avoid eye contact. They remained silent, patiently waiting for the man to be ready to set sail.
