hello calamity! we're nearing the two months mark in a few weeks. how time flies! right now we have two things going on that need your participation. the first is an activity check! it is impotant that you check in so you don't lose your face claim. the second is the otm nomiations! we're doing it a bit different than last time. so please submit your nominations in. a vote thread will be up in the next few days. there will also be a formal event coming very soon, so keep your eye out for that. keep being cool!
we're currently about to host calamity's first contest in slatepor. trainers are flocking to the city to see, the city's been trying to get good pr since the gala, and it seems to be working! they're asking for both coordinators and volunteer judges to sign up.

Apparently she has to go back again. No problem on her end, really. After all, what was she supposed to do without her clothing? Nothing, absolutely nothing. She has money to spend it all and self-indulge herself with it, but, what's the point if she has clothes at the ready for her in a bag? She can go shopping later, for now it's to find the damn bag she forgot elsewhere in her place.
Alongside beside her was her newly acquainted friend, Donovan the Zigzagoon. At least the small one was not famished beyond belief. Food was in his stomach and so was hers! She was appreciative of the events which have happened to meet the small Zigzagoon.
There's a hustle and bustle in the small town. What was it? She doesn't know, nor does she seem to care at all. She bides her time well, in order to capture her moment in the town. How long did she spent here in order to start her journey? Two weeks maybe?
It was at least she could do since she has time to go to the forest and stay with the Wild Pokemons. "Ah, hey! That's my bag!" she exclaims as she then catches up to the person with her bag. "Uh, yeah, can I have my bag back please? It would mean a lot really and I don't have time to really dawdle that long here."
She grew a bit nervous, the crowd became bigger. Who was there? A superstar of the sorts? Eh, probably some hero who saved the town. Not my problem. As she was given the bag, the girl shoulders it and picks up Donovan into her arms. Who was it that was there? She doesn't know, but as she walks through the crowd she bumps into a person. "Ouch, okay, whoa, move aside guy, I don't have time." She looks up.

“Oi, it's not my fault the crowd forced me into a path of collision,” he paused for a second to look down asking for her name “miss..?”
The woman in question looked to be of average height, though her clothes seemed a bit over done with the darkness and details. It consisted of a dress in the Gothic Loli style from what he could tell, he didn't know about her shoes, but he hoped they were okay to walk around in.
Mercurio himself was just wearing some casual travelling clothing that was appropriate for the late spring to early summer weather, as well as a pair of boots with metal reinforcement at the tip. The colours were a mixture of wheat yellow, blue, and white. He did have his pokebals in his belt, but had kept his Turtwig egg somewhere safe in the room he had rented, which was why he wasn't more aggressive about this encounter.
He reached his hand down to help her to get up, “Sorry about it though. My name is Mercurio.”
Sure, sure it wasn't his fault. Much like it wasn't her fault for leaving her bag behind! Ergh, shut up about that Charles. She flinches a bit and looks for a moment. Who was talking to her? A bit angry, she looks up, as she cranes her neck, it pains her a bit. Fuck, this dude is so fucking tall. She was extremely curious now and felt a bit of awe.
Stuck stare to the male, the girl looks away for a bit and clutches the bag in her hand. Ugh, screw this, I'll go somewhere else and sleep maybe...don't wanna mess around with a god damn giant today, not at all.
A frown plays on her lips as she then shakes her head. "Quit calling me miss, just call me Charlie," she crosses her arms across her chest. She would have preferred to get out of here by now. Too many people for her fancy and she was more into the forest, not a city or town big enough to have a stampede of people.
"Nice to meet you though Mercury," she says. "Err...right? Mercury?" She's not good with names at all. "Ugh, you know, I'm not good with crowds." she mumbles to herself. A scowl on her lips.

“But that is a name that almost makes you destined to bite me,” he responded with a smile hoping she would get the reference, although he doubted that she would. She did seem a little hush hush to him however with how much she closed herself in.
“And it ends in io not y, Charlie. Mer-cu-ri-o,” he clarified sounding not annoyed, but like he had been at this topic before.
“Nonetheless, I could carry you out like a fireman if the crowds bother you so much,” he said with a big smirk, “Nah that was just in jest. I can help you spot a way out of the crowd if you need that kind of help though. I can usually see the heads and tails of crowds. The downside is the wind though.”

She couldn't understand him. Not one bit. What was clear for her is that he was just another male who was in her way. Tch, annoying. She was not impressed with how they first were in a set up together now. Stuck in this huge a mass of crowd.
Waving her hand, the girl dismisses the pronunciation of his name. "Same thing, Mercury and Mercoto are the same. Plus it's just a name, doesn't hold anything about yourself."
The smirk on his face was rather annoying. Charlie wanted to smack him. In hopes to get something straight with him. Doubt that would even happen, whatever. She cranes her neck a bit, looking at the crowd. Annoyance on her face.
She scrunches her face when he spoke again. God, this guy is really loquacious. It's so annoying. The girl "tch" him and gave him a look. "Look bub, if you're here to mock my height, then do it already, it's not like there's anyone to watch other than this massive crowd that seems to get bigger and bigger," she raises her voice at each word she says.
