The Papesse and The Tower [C]

Kohaku liked to think he was a lot of things…In fact he was sure he had a great personality once in a while. When he became pissed or impatient though…his personality was not so nice. In this moment he was pissed because seriously he could take it most of the time when people made comments about him looking girlish cause he got his looks from his mom but…For fucks sake leave his height the fuck alone! It didn’t help that he’d landed up with some scrapes and bruises because he’d pounced on the guy who’d had the nerve to start flapping his gums just because he was short and didn’t believe Kohaku could do anything. Feh! Showed him didn’t he. The cherry pink haired young man had made sure to break the guys nose at least before the coward had ran away like the dog he was. The petite male puffed out his cheeks when a particularly painful scrape that had some dirt in it flared and he let out a low growl. It only managed to make his mood just a tad bit darker as he glared at the wound heatedly.

He’d wandered to the edges of Oldale just slightly out of sight of everyone else and sat down with a quiet sigh. Closing his eyes and forcing himself to breath so he could calm down before running his hands over his stuff. All his pokeballs were where they should be which meant Scheherazade was safe and none of his items got shattered during the tussle. Good, this was all good news.

With his temper settled more and the dark anger simmering back under the surface Kohaku got to patching himself up. Grumbling about stupid fight starters that didn’t know how to keep their mouth shut if they weren’t going to stick around through the whole fight like real men. He might be short but at least he wasn’t no coward like that guy…or his dad. The thought of the Chinese man made him scowl harder and let out a sharp sound of irritation. What the hell did he care about that man anyway? Good riddance if he never saw the bastard again and this had nothing to do with the fact that before he left his mom had received a letter from the jerk.

Sucking his teeth again as his temper began to rise, Kohaku rolled his eyes at himself. He really needed some anger management or something cause this was getting ridiculous. He thought he was over these petty outbursts but then…he supposed he shouldn’t be surprised. Shaking his head as his mind wandered towards his years in highschool with a group that had…fallen apart spectacularly, Kohaku slowly got up with a low grunt, turning to walk back the way he came when he bumped into someone. “Shit, my ba--” His sentence was cut short when his cherry pink gaze locked on with a familiar face…he just couldn’t put his finger on it. Clearing his throat, unthinkingly he asked, “Have we met before??”

Of course…that didn’t sound like a particularly horrible pick up line. Just barely refraining from facepalming he added, “That didn’t come out right.”
