WELCOME TO THE PARTY
happy summer, welcome to petalburg's annual beach party! trainers are invited from all over hoenn to explore the route 104's elusive beaches and caves. hunt for gems, search for fossils, and catch rare pokemon! during this time, there will also be a festival going on, so all trainers are encouraged to participate.
this festival includes:
• npc encounters - there may be some celebrities floating around, keep an eye out! you may receive rewards for spotting them.
• wild pokemon encounters - there are plenty of pokemon around the beach, especially in caves and oceans. don't leave yours behind, just in case.
• special event exploration - people will be split into parties of 4-5 to explore a cave. more details to come.
• beach battles - a special tournament will be set up, everybody is encouraged to participate! there will be a special reward for the winner. EDIT: there will not be a tournament, but feel free to battle among yourselves!
• all class involvement - every class on calamity is encouraged to participate. magma and aqua members are encouraged to steal, coordinators to perform, and trainers to battle!
rules:
• each character may only participate in one exploration at a time
• npc and wild encounters still count in your two slots
• each pokemon gets 2 levels instead of 1 for the beach battle
• any finished threads related to the event gives you 2 extra poke
• linear routes still apply. your character must get to route 104 to participate in these events
• once your character gets to the route, they may immediately start battling, meeting npcs/wilds, and any thread in general! have fun!
