"I think I've lost my mind." Dylan thought as he walked all the way back to route one o' two in his Magma Outfit.
Today he was on what he called a 'Self assigned Team Magma Mission', basically is excuse to do something and blame it on magma if it goes horribly horribly wrong. "Since I've joined Magma everything in life has been just peachy. So might as well get some more members going, right?" Dylan thought to himself as he trudged through the route tired from the journey from Mauville. He paused and looked around for anyone. "Hopefully someone will join. . ."
His Lucario was hiding, unlike usual it wasn't by his side, but it was closing examining Dylan's aura, if it sensed anything other that neutrality and happiness the Pokemon one would rush to the scene. "Well, here's to nothing." Dylan added pausing again. "Still no one. . ." He muttered shaking his head, feeling as if he was wasting time.
That's when he remembered he needed to go to Littleroot town, something there was waiting for him apparently. "That's such a strange message too, from an anonymous. . ." Dylan muttered continuing into the route. "Whatever to all this. . ."
She couldn't believe that she caught her first pokemon by herself. Staring down at the two pokeballs in her hands, the ditto and budew rested quietly inside. She hadn't thought of a name for the newest addition to her team and she felt almost guilty for what she named her ditto, but what else could she name something that didn't have a gender and literally copied everything about other pokemon? The budew's name was still a mystery to the girl, and she wondered if she would need to battle with it to figure out a name...
With that on her mind, she walked around on the route looking for anything to battle. The shroomish she had battled earlier was all Copycat, so now she needed to train her budew. What she didn't expect to find was someone else on this trail, undeniably dressed in a familiar outfit - the suit team magma wore. She stopped dead in her tracks, the words Sylvester told her repeating themselves in her mind. She hoped he didn't see her yet, because she was literally about to tuck tail and run back to the hotel in hopes Sylvester would be there... she had already been out for a few hours and it was probably starting to get late...

Dylan sighed with relief, thank god someone was out here.
He began walking towards the girl waving at her trying to seem as friendly as possible, he had no intentions of hurting no matter how she would react to him approaching her. When he got closer Dylan noticed she was staring almost a bit wide-eyed and in fear, as if she was about to b-line back to wherever she came from. Whatever, if he just needed to try to recruit it, this shouldn't take too long, right?
His specially knitted by his mother Magma hoodie covered up most of his face, his eyes and and up were completely covered in the darkness of the hood, but his nose and mouth was completely exposed. He began to use his super warm and friendly smile and introduced himself and complimented her as he usually does. "Hello, my name is Dice. I like your glasses." He held out his hand for a shake, whether she take it or not did not matter. "You are?"
Surprisingly Dylan didn't feel nervous at all, he waited for her to introduce herself if she would do so.
Harley wasn't really the type to cuss, but shit, he saw her. And it wasn't long before he started walking over too, and she knew it was too late to run. He seemed friendly enough, but she couldn't trust that. Sylvester specifically told her to not trust them, and here one was, standing in front of her introducing himself as some funky name that probably wasn't even true. seriously, who named their son Dice? Harley's eyes narrowed and she wondered if she'd even be able to beat this guy in a battle if that's what it turned in to. Probably not. Her pokemon weren't very strong, and this guy was probably some established member with strong pokemon that would stomp on babies like hers. It wouldn't surprise her that they would prey on the weak, and that was exactly what she thought he was doing.
Instinctively, she took a few steps back as he approached with his hand out stretched. "You won't fool me," Her eyes were narrowed at him, ignoring the compliment. He was just trying to get on her good side, but it wouldn't work! Her father was a ranger so she wasn't new to the magma and aqua tricks, but now that she heard about a ranger causing problems, she really didn't know if she could trust her father. He didn't seem to be like the one she was told about, but now she was all skeptical. She didn't even answer him when he asked for her name. Like hell she would give that to him, and she wasn't witty enough to come up with a fake name like she believed he had. So instead, she just kept quiet, hoping her light hostility would be enough to ward him off. Unlikely.

Dylan rubbed the back of his, his first thought was "Rude". He wouldn't say it out loud though.
He moved his hands into his pocket and tilted his head. "Fool you? If you mean my name, obviously it's not my real name it's a nickname." Dylan replied and then thought "Wow that was stupid of me to say." he shook his head. "I apologize if I offended you." He bowed towards, feet forward and arms at his side showing full respect, after a brief moment. He looked towards her again. "Uhm. . . excuse me this my first time."
"As you can tell by my outfit I am clearly a member of Team Magma." Dylan said arm moving down his uniform. "If you're wondering why I'm here, it's not to harm you." He added and then moved onto the main reason he was here. "I'm here to try and recruit you into the glorious Team Magma." Dylan said, his smile remaining as strong and as friendly as ever. "If you join you will be treated like family and given your own room to stay in. If you deny, I will simply move on, but I'd like to know why."
"No, try to get on my good side. Ain't gonna happen." She glared at the guy some more, uncomfortable with his friendliness. Team magma wasn't friendly and whatever this guy was trying to pull, Harley wanted nothing of it. She rolled her eyes as he continued, clearly not amused, although she was quite nervous. Even if she said no, she didn't believe this guy wouldn't hurt her. He'd probably carry her away with ease, she hardly weighed much. If not that, he'd certainly steal her pokemon. He just couldn't be trusted, but she had little choice. There was no way she was answering his question positively.
"Hell no, and it's because you're all asshats." Friendly or not, Harley wasn't in a friendly mood anymore and not cussing was the last thing on her mind. Being around him alone made her uncomfortable and she really wanted to get back to town at least, where other people would see her, and there was a better chance of Sylvester finding her. All she could hope for now was that somebody was walking through this trail and would be inclined to help her fend this horned-hoodie wearing, weirdo asshat off.

Dylan sighed, he then nodded. "Alright, no need for further convincing, as promised you will be unharmed."
There was a slight pause, Dylan stared back at her intently, he was waiting for the 'Why', his first assumption was that she just ran into the wrong Magma Grunt earlier. He shrugged it all off, she didn't want to join, she didn't have to. More and more ideas popped into his head of why she wouldn't want to join, free home, caring people, free pokemon, free job? Why wouldn't anyone want to join, maybe it was all the rumors people were spreading. . . Magma only wants what's best for the people. People have just abused their kindess.
"Asshats. . ." Dylan repeated after her, he patted his head taking the insult a bit too seriously. "My mom knitted this hoodie especially for me. . ." He muttered and shook his head again, off topic and once again stupid. "Not all of us. . . there's this one girl in Magma she's the be- Uhhh. . . off topic never mind what I just said." He muttered his face turning a slight shade of red, embarrassment, but she wouldn't care most likely. "Why does this uniform make me an asshat, I'm human like you, you know. . ."
Did she have to explain everything to him? She almost wanted to facepalm. It wasn't his hoodie that made him an asshat. In all actuality, the hoodie was well made, but it was team magma as a whole that were asshats, cool hoodies or not. The hoodies weren't enough though, since the jerk inside took a hude notch out of the appeal. She sighed, wondering if team magma was just a bunch of dunces.
"Not your hoodie. You. Team Magma. Even Aqua. All asshats." Maybe shorter sentences would be easier, but her frustration was starting to leak out more than it had before. Wasn't team magma supposed to be more forceful than this? She'd always expected having a hard time with them because of other reasons, not this. She wouldn't ask questions though, since she didn't want to be here any longer, not that she wanted to in the first place. She almost started to wonder if she even needed anyone's help if this guy was just going to 'leave her unharmed'. What kind of threat is that? How could something like team magma even look appealing to someone? She just couldn't fathom it and was quickly growing irritated instead of just frustrated.

Dylan waited again, another pause in the conversation, he was used to this. She was was probably thinking of a response. He cracked his neck patiently and whistled softly. "Asshats? Erm this girl has strong opinons. . ." He thought shaking his head slightly. "Who spreads such cruel rumors." He whispered and raised a brow at the girl. That was uncalled for, straight up calling Dylan one, he didn't do anything wrong.
"Now, I'm pretty sure you don't have the right to call us asshats, especially me since I haven't wronged you whatsoever." Dylan replied scratching his head. "You know never judge a book by it's cover." He added and then thought about Aqua. "I've never even seen Aqua do anything they're more lazy then they are anything else. . ." He chuckled briefly then stopped. "You still haven't answered why I am an asshat or why Magma as a whole is an asshat." He paused again.

It came as a surprise to Sylvester when he came walking along the trail, noticing two distinct figures on the scene before him. One of them being his dearest childhood friend, Harley Valla. The person with her, though, was a much more interesting specimen. Approaching from the magma member's hind, Sylvester walked out from behind him and gave the most exhausted face that was void of any amusement. "Didn't you punks have enough after the summer gala?" Immediately Sylvester reached within his coat to retrieve one of his occupied pokeballs, allowing it to grow in his hand.
That was when Sylvester recognized the face of the individual. "...Dylan?" His expression suddenly grew more tense, and his off hand gripped the male by his Magma hoodie, doing his best to keep him there. The fabric was rather durable, unlike most frail main brand clothing. It was less likely to rip should Dylan struggle, though after a question or so Sylvester was going to let him go anyway. "Why?" Dylan would do well to speak up before Sylvester...
About to answer the man and his many comments, she noticed Sylvester appearing from behind the man. She stayed silent until he spoke, only confirming that they were indeed bad and it wasn't just her imagination like this magma grunt made it sound. She was about to speak again when Sylvester spoke the mans real name, and a brow raised in curiosity. Sylvester knew this man? He didn't seem to be pleased finding out that this man was in magma and she frowned. Were they friends? Probably not now that he was apparently in team magma.
She wanted to speak, but instead remained quiet. There wasn't much she could say right now, and besides, she had more interest in how they knew each other than updating Sylvester on what's been said.

"Fuck this shit I'm out." Dylan thought to himself, the girl kept refusing to answer his question and continued to call him an asshat, he was about to leave this girl without a word when suddenly someone behind him spoke in a familiar voice. "Oh god damn it. . ." Dylan muttered as he turned around with his usual friendly and warm smile.
"At the Gala? I can't tell you what happened there because I wouldn't know myself to be honest." Dylan said half way through his turn, he paused, it was Sylvester, out of all the people it could of been, it was Sylvester Blackburne. "Hello Sylvester, been a while hasn't it? How are you?" He said as he was grabbed by the collar and asked 'Why?' Dylan starred at him for a moment. "Why? Why what? Why am I in Magma?" He asked looking down at Sylvester hand that clutched onto his hoodie collar. "Eh, you mind letting me go first, we are friends aren't we. I don't think we should show each other any hostility." He added, that's when a paw was placed onto Sylvesters back, his Lucario had sensed a third aura and rushed over to the scene only to find his trainer being grabbed by another male.
"I'm pretty sure we're both capable of speaking to each other without getting into a pointless fight and Lucario please remove your hands from Sylvester, I would appreciate it if you didn't threaten my friend." He commanded and Lucario nodded backing up a few steps away from Sylvester.

It wasn't until the hand on his back that Sylvester felt the need to let go, but grew extremely suspicious when Dylan noted it was the hand of his Lucario, and not Harley's own. Reluctantly letting Dylan loose of his firm grip, Sylvester proved keen on letting Dylan know a little bit about the events at the gala.
"It wasn't just Team Magma, there were others pulling some strings. Let's just leave it at that." He grimaced, blatantly disgusted by Dylan and how he still tried to act as if they were friends. "You got a weird way of showing hospitality. Why exactly was your Lucario hiding while you and Harley were talking?" It mattered mostly due to his suspicions that Dylan was going to have his pokemon jump her midway through their little chat, or whatever exactly it was. It didn't sit well with him, and so Sylvester allowed the pokeball to release it's contents, producing a Combusken at his side...
Blaze - Lv.31 - Healthy (100%) Flint is on standby!
Harley listened quirtly, unsure of what she should even do. The problem changed to something else that didn't involve her, but she wasn't about to leave Sylvester alone with this magma freak. When the lucario appeared, she was suddenly afraid that its hurt Sylvester, but was relieved when it was told to lay off. At this, Harley moved forward to stand slightly behind Sylvester, but still at his side some.
The combusken he mentioned this morning was released and she was getting kind of alarmed. She didn't want this to end in a battle from the beginning, but that was just because her pokemon weren't strong enough to take him on... Sylvester, however, had some strong pokemon and a good chance of winning. She barely touched his arm and looked up at him. "How do you know him?" she frowned, saddened that it seemed like he had been betrayed by a friend.

Dylan nodded and watched as his Lucario made his way around Sylvester and towards him. "That's a simple question with a simple answer." Dylan added and looked toward his Lucario. "Well first off, he's always outside of his Pokeball no matter what, secondly it was to avoid being put in a tight situation. I have no intention of hurting Harley, or you, and both of your Pokemon." Dylan said pushing his glasses up his nose bridge. He smiled again. "I didn't do anything at all to harm her. I'm not like the other Team Magma Members. I don't care about their goals, I don't care about the crimes they do, and I do not take part in them."
Dylan then looked towards Harley. "I still want your views on Magma." He said and put his hands back into his pocket. He looked towards the Combusken and shook his head. "I'm not going to battle you Sylvester." He added with a sigh. "Not yet anyway, we will have our rematch eventually." He looked past the two and peered into Petalburg. "Well, Harley, if you wanna know how we met it's not a long story, but an interesting one at least."
"We met in Petalburg, I had just finished my daily training and sat down on a bench, I didn't see Sylvester there and sat down right next to him. We had a small talk about destiny, winning, and loosing battles, which we had after the conversation was over." He paused to take a breathe. "Another topic we touched was Team Aqua, and Team Magma. Sylvester at the time did not know I was a part of Team Magma, but I listened to him belittle the team calling them criminals and such, which not all members are. I told him we weren't much of a problem and that I would assist in taking down both teams." He finished and smiled. "I will stay true to that, while trainers like you destroy the team from the outside, I shall destroy them from the inside and rework the entire group, that is my goal."
