Littleroot was much more rustic than she imagined. A small town that was surrounded by trees and had a small population. The people were happily bustling about as she stepped foot on the dirt path that led and spread out onto the many pathways. It was different from the pristine glass windows and beautiful tapestry that she had grown up with. But somehow it was much easier to breathe. An old woman greeted her and she bowed as they exchanged pleasantries before being directed to a lab near the path leading to Route 101.
Professor Birch.
She had heard things about him, most were good or at least a tad suspicious. If she knew anything, he was a lover of pokemon and willing to help anyone start their adventure. Castiel strode through the town taking in the altercations and peace. It was much easier to breathe and she found herself taking longer strides. Coming to the door of the lab, she pushed it open slowly.
"Pardon the intrusion."
Standing there, she couldn't help but look in awe at a little pokeball sitting in an incubator with a small tab that had her name.
They will not force us They will stop degrading us They will not control us
We will be victorious
"C'mon, boy. I know yer hungry. We'll eat soon, okay? After we're done."
Hiro the Numel bleated out his agreement as he followed his mistress into the unfamiliar confines of the lab. It eyed the collection of equipment stored away inside, ears twitching as it detected the soft humming and subtle vibration that orginated from the available tech. Andrea had her egg, which had been carefully tucked away within a secure glass case, in her arms. The thing was beginning to tremble and move occasionally now. It was likely to hatch soon, and the woman was eager to get it glanced at by one of the available specialists here.
"Numel," the creature murmured softly.
"Sssh, boy," she hushed, frowning.
After she had handed the egg off to a scientist, her gaze happened to shift to a beautifully slender creature placed nearby. Her interested was piqued at that particular moment, for the coordinator's gaze wandered in an aimless fashion. After taking the time to survey those beautiful curves, pale flesh, and that mane of straight dark strands - she licked her lips. It wasn't long before Andrea allowed her weakness for women to coax her near. Her Numel followed closely behind as she approached the pretty female.
"Hello, babe," she purred, increasing her charm.
She struggled to control her hands, her fingers twitching as she forced herself not to touch such a lovely figure.
"Comin' to get yer Poke?" Andrea asked, glancing at the stored capsule.
Her fire-type nudged at her leg with his nose, reminding her of his desire for food once more.
Andrea sighed. "Hiro, stop."
"Nummeeeelll," he whined in response.
Shaking her head, she averted her attention to the older woman and leaned forward with a sharp grin.

There were many things that she wasn't expecting upon entering Littleroot. A rather flirtatious woman was on the list of those things. She looked a bit younger than herself, maybe not more than two years. She was also followed by a Numel meaning that she may have already started her journey. Hiro. It was a rather cute name, and she couldn't help but smile a little as the Numel whined to its trainer.
"Babe?"
Castiel placed one hand on her hip while raising her eyebrow in curiosity. Who was this person to call her such a name? With a slight flick of her hair over her shoulder and a fold of her arms, she stared down at her with a slightly stern expression. "I am not a babe. My name is Castiel."
She whipped around causing her hair to fly for a second before opening the incubator. Taking the pokeball, she looked it over before pointing it in the direction of open space. Pressing the button, a light shined before a Munchlax stood staring up at her in awe. It wasn't what she had been expecting but was warrented nonethless.
"I will name you Andi."
Andi stared at her before smiling as if enthralled by the attention his trainer gave him. She allowed the little Munchlax to snack on a few treats that she kept handy.
"The professor is not present at the moment. Therefore if your Numel- if Hiro is hungry.. he can share Andi's snack."
Her soft spot for cute things was rearing its head and she cursed mentally.
They will not force us They will stop degrading us They will not control us
We will be victorious
The scent of raw spice invaded her senses, the delicious mixture breathed in and savored by the girl. A pleasant sensation fluttered within the confines of her tummy, leaving Andrea in a state of semi-bliss as a dopey grin formed. Only when the woman addressed her once again did she return from her fuzzy state. The appearance of the Munchlax sparked her curiosity, and the woman reached into the stuffed pockets of her denim shorts. Producing a Pokedex, she scanned the plump creature.
"Munchlax, the Big Eater Pokémon. It gobbles up its own body weight in food each day, and it swallows its food without almost any chewing."
"Sweet Pokemon. Don't they evolve into Snorlax?" She asked, grinning at the normal-type.
When the older female offered her Pokemon the opportunity to eat, she glanced at Hiro whom eyed the treats hungrily. He glanced at her, and she responded with a short nod. The Numel released a noise of delight before partaking in the hearty treats alongside the Munchlax.
"Thank ya - ah - Castiel," she replied. "Guessin' yer about to head out, huh? On yer journey, I mean? You a trainer?"
Her hand reached out to toy with a single strand of Castiel's hair, fingers moving to handle the bit with the utmost care.
"'mm a coordinator myself," Andrea said. "Jus' here to check up on my Bagon egg."
Post by castiel leingod on May 24, 2015 1:51:05 GMT
To have someone touch her hair, no, to even touch her person was foreign. Castiel could feel her body begin to tense up as she felt the strand move in the slightest. Her eyes widened a small fraction as she glanced away from the feeding Pokemon and in Andrea's direction. Trying her best to erase the shock that had crossed her features, she reached up to take the other's wrist in her hand and push it aside.
"Yes. I was told that Professor Birch was the one to see for a Pokemon. Receiving him was an unexpected surprise."
She looked down at the Munchlax who gave her a wide smile as bits of food covered its face. She resisted the urge to reach down and wipe away like an overly careful mother. Instead, she sighed and focused her attentions on Andrea. The other woman was rather distracting, and a bit touchy. She wasn't used to such contact. Besides her mother holding her hand while she slept or insisting to cling onto her as the two walked through the familiar hallways of their home. Such memories were the only times that she could remember actually enjoying the touch of another person.
"You guessed correctly, I am a trainer. Hoping to have a strong enough team at some point, Andi is a beautiful addition. I wouldn't have pegged you as a coordinator."
Honestly, she would have seen her as a breeder from the thirsty flirtatious vibe that came from her. At least she wasn't overly annoying then this conversation would be even harder.
"A Bagon egg? That is impressive."
She had only heard of such Pokemon in stories that her caretakers would spin for her. A Bagon could grow into a fantastic Pokemon. The scent of wildflowers touched Cas' nose and she found that the distance between the two of them was much more than she had expected. The smell was a tad overpowering but interesting.
They will not force us They will stop degrading us They will not control us
We will be victorious
Andrea's smile only broadened as the woman flung her wrist away before continuing onward with the conversation. Playing hard to get, hm? That only increased her natural urge - instinct prompting her to pursue the beautiful female.
"I get that a lot, babe," she purred.
Appearing to bounce back from the physical rejection, the woman gestured to herself.
"I gotta trainer look to me, yeah. I guess it's my natural swagger. I don't look like the usual pompom princesses and pristine princes that are associated with contests," she said, snorting. "'mm here to show the world my potential. Toughness. Beauty. Cuteness. Coolness. Smartness. And this path is the best way to make that happen. Plus, 'mm pursuin' gym badges as well. It's no different from yer occupation. Only minus most of the perks associated with yer kind. Got me?"
She nodded in agreement to Castiel's praise regarding her being in possession of a Bagon egg. Andrea thought she lucked out as well.
"So - ah - babe," Andrea said, leaning forward. "You and me? Let's have a go."
Her grin became lewd, a touch of malice entering her gaze as her expression became intense. Andrea's grin became wide and toothy as she flashed her teeth with bravado.
"I'd love to be yer first. Battle-wise, I mean," she crooned. "Up fer the challenge?"
Post by castiel leingod on May 24, 2015 2:35:32 GMT
This woman simply could not be deterred. Even when she was cold and unwavering, she found a way around it. That grin that she wore caused Castiel's blood to run hotter. There was something in it that just rubbed her the wrong way, but if so then why hadn't she left? Andrea was right in her description. Most coordinators were rather happy people, they were dressed in bright colors and committed to being as cute as their Pokemon. But everything about her screamed pride, it was like looking at a scruffy puppy. A rather flirtatious puppy that was nipping at her heels nonetheless. She hoped to say something to end the conversation and continue on her way until Andrea's comment actually stopped her process of thinking.
Her eyes widened a tad and her Munchlax looked up from his meal to observe his seemingly frozen trainer. Never in her days had she ever met someone so impossibly lewd. Although she knew there was a double meaning to the other woman's speech, she couldn't help swallowing hard and casting a glance at Andi. The Munchlax returned to eating as soon as she moved and she released the breath that she didn't know that she had been holding. Regaining her composure, the defenseless gaze that she held was replaced with one of steel.
"Presumptuous. Very well, do not disappoint me."
Her lips curled into a smirk. She loved a challenge. Taking a step closer to her, her antsy nature seemed to vanish entirely as she closed the distance between them and leaned down.
"Do not take me lightly, Andrea."
She whispered her name with the utmost care, the smirk that she wore unwavering. Stepping back, she snapped and Andi piped up quickly. She didn't expect him to be so well-behaved, but it may have been because she fed him beforehand.

Another promise , another seed
Another packaged lie to keep us trapped in greed
And
all the green belts
wrapped around our minds
endless red tape to keep
the truth confined
They will not force us They will stop degrading us They will not control us
We will be victorious
Andrea chuckled, a surge of glee leaving her intensely satisfied with the woman's agreement. The way her expression had morphed was positively delicious. It left the coordinator hungering for much more. And this battle had the potential of satiating that absolute need that rumbled deep within.
"Trust me, Castiel," she replied, "I won't be gentle. Not with you, at least."
A chortle spilled out from her lips as she proceeded to turn away.
"I'll meet ya outside the building, baby," she crooned. "C'mon, Hiro. Say goodbye to yer new friend fer now. Yer both gonna have all kinds of fun soon enough."
"Nummm," he muttered softly.
The fire-type and coordinator left the pair alone as they went about retrieving the egg once called upon by staff. It would hatch soon, said the scientist, and it would be best to keep it within reach at all times. Andrea accepted this information with a short nod, and decided to leave the glass case behind in favor of holding it herself. It was a small relief to get rid of the extra weight. With the colorful egg in her arms, she took leave of the building.
"Ready fer some action, babe?" Andrea said.
"Numel?" the fire-type bleated.
The woman looked around, scanning their surroundings. Once Andrea located a good patch of land that offered up enough space for a battle she pointed to it. It was a grassy area, which appeared to have been recently touched for the grass was neatly trimmed.

For a moment, she couldn't help but just stare as Andrea walked away. The confidence in her stride, the way that she talked, she wasn't even slightly put off by the coldness in her voice. She wondered if this fascination or curiosity, a better word, would vanish after the battle. This may have been all it was. Another person trying to get under her skin and challenge her only to laugh if she lost. Though something in the back of her mind was giving her the urge to wish that it wasn't true. That maybe, in some odd universe, someone was actually interested in her. The thought caused her almost to sputter and she rolled her eyes. Why would she want some vulgar creature after her? Simply reprehensible. Taking in a breath, she steeled her resolve and gave a curt nod to her Munchlax.
On her way out a scientist handed her a Pokedex explaining the uses to her and she tucked it away into her jacket pocket. Andi ran ahead presuming that outside meant it was time to play. But upon seeing his trainer stop in her tracks a few feet away from the Numel and Andrea, he quickly came in front of her and held his arms out. She smiled a tad appreciatively. Even if he wasn't the brightest pokemon, Andi was more than likely going to be the most loyal one that she had. Folding her arms across her chest and staring condescendingly at her, she nodded.
"Good enough."
Andi's eyes narrowed as he stared at the Numel. He couldn't comprehend on what was happening having just eaten with the other Pokemon a moment ago. But this wasn't for him to understand, rather, this was a test of strength. Her resolve as a trainer.

The Numel called out a small greeting to the Munchlax as he faced off against the plump fellow. A small smile played itself onto his features, the look radiating with a genuine show of warmth. Only when Andrea called out to him did he quickly grow serious.
"Time fer a challenge, boy! Ya got this," she called.
"Nummm," he replied, ears perking up as he began to focus.
"This is gonna be one on one, babe," Andrea called, waggling a small finger. "So I won't be pullin' the rest of my team out if things are lookin' tough on my side. Gotta play fair, right?"
Steam flowed from the Numel's humped back, his blunt paw beginning to dig into the earth as Andrea spoke.
"Ready to start? Good, 'cause I can't wait fer this to go down. Numel! Start it up with a Growl! Followed by an Ember!"
The Numel raised its head, the fire-type releasing a piercing bleat that distorted the surrounding airs. Afterward, bolts of fire were belched out, the heated collection of molten bits shooting toward the normal-type at an impressive speed.

There was one thing that she hated about her own mind. There were too many thoughts. Too many things picking around making themselves known and present. Through the thundering storm that was her own mind, she could hear Andrea speaking but her voice was distant against her ears. She folded her arms over her chest, staring straight ahead with narrowed eyes and a proud disposition. The information in her head that she had gathered over the years, her intense love for it was beginning to make itself known. Fire-type Pokemon, like Numel, weren't as effecetive against Normal Type pokemon, their attacks being halved and with Munchlax's Thick Fat ability. In the back of her mind, she wondered why she was so serious and wanted victory so badly. But she felt there would be an odd satisfaction that came with beating the other woman.
"Munchlax! Charge head on, and use Tackle!"
Andi didn't waste a moment's breath and charged forward running as quickly as he could on such stubby legs. He winced as the ember flames touched his fur and tried not to slow his pace. The effects of Growl setting in as his defense lowered. She narrowed her eyes and steeled her resolve. She had to have faith in him, coddling him wouldn't do anything for him. Munchlax charged forward and lunged to tackle Numel. He wasn't the quickest Pokemon but what he lost in speed, he made up for in durability. Even seeing the dark patches of burnt fur did not deter her and she stared impassively.

Hiro grunted as he was struck by the simple attack. His body quivered, but his natural reservoir of strength allowed for him to hold steady underneath the strain. Pushed backwards from the bodily strike, he remained still as he patiently awaited his mistress's commands.
"Growl!"
The Pokemon's maw opened and he released yet another pitched noise toward the Pokemon. Andrea's eyes remained trained on the battle as this occurred - her mind having decided to wield the simple strategy against her foe. She was educated enough to realize that Munchlax was a normal-type. And normal-types typically boast normal-type attacks. Which meant she'd have to decrease the power wielded as quickly as possible to gain an advantage.
"Now a Tackle! Give 'em a piece of his own medicine!"
Numel launched himself toward the plump Pokemon with a battle cry, intent on retaliating.

She did her best to remind herself that this battle wasn't malicious. There wasn't anything that she was risking except her own pride. It was for fun, for gauging battle capabilities. But she couldn't lessen the tension in her body or loosen the feeling in her own mind. It was there, gripping her and taking her further and further into the little mental block that she had so long ago. For a split second, her eyes closed and she took in a deep breath.
"Charge!"
Her Munchlax didn't hesitate as he ran forward braving the high pitched noises covering his ears in the process. She couldn't imagine how he felt. Growl was an ability meant to lessen the opponent's attack, and if he took too many of them - he'd be helpless. This had to end as quickly as possible. At the thought of it, she could feel a slight drop in her stomach. Was that disappointment? Shaking it off, she called out to him.
"Stand your ground! And use Lick!'
As the two Pokemon collided, Munchlax fell backwards having lost his balance. Although his tongue shot out at its opponent to give a rather aggressive lick. She wasn't very proud of the move but it was essential. Lick was a Ghost-type move that could potentially cause another Pokemon to be paralyzed, although the chance of it was rather low, it was still a chance. Her Munchlax tried to shake off the bits of pain, and she frowned at the small charred bits of his fur and how tired he may have been.
Its okay. You're doing fine.

The Numel trembled violently as he felt the smooth tongue press against his flesh. The bit of saliva caused his body to react, muscles quickly growing stiff as he continued to shake and shiver.
"Whoa! Hiro?" Andrea questioned, eyes widening.
Hiro blinked blankly, having a difficult comprehending his own situation at first. Only when he tried to move did he realize that his limbs no longer reacted properly to his commands.
"Num..."
"Oh, shit!"
Andrea quickly realized what occurred, identifying the familiar signs of paralysis. Her schooling had granted her the appropriate amount of knowledge to visually identify these status ailments.
"Shit," she cursed, hissing. "Cheap shot. But a good one. Hiro!"
"Nummellll."
"Try to use an Ember!"
The Numel managed to turn his head and spout out another flame, though he visibly struggled - gritting his teeth against the unpleasant soreness that followed.

Her Munchlax's breath was labored. He was visibly tired from the entire ordeal and hoped that his body didn't give out yet. He could feel his stomach grumble as he grew hungrier and rubbed his belly in accordance to it. Looking back over his shoulder, he caught Castiel's stare and his eyes widened. She was smiling. Even if it was rather tiny, his trainer was smiling. In the small amount of time that he knew her, he found that he liked her smiles. If she was pleased that he was doing well, and it made her smile then that meant he had to do this. But the Numel was his friend and his friend didn't seem very happy as he couldn't move. The smoldering patches of his fur caught his attention; friends didn't hurt one another did they?
Castiel's eyebrows furrowed and she hesitated taking a step forward. She could feel the confusion radiating off in waves from the Munchlax. He was doubting himself and the entire ordeal. There was only one thing that she could do.
"Regardless of what may happen, Andi, I'm sure the two of you will still be friends. I know that I would like to see Andrea again. So lets give them a good match!"
Her Munchlax straightened up and nodded with a newfound determination in his gaze.
"Munchlax!"
Several balls of molten fire were coming at him and Castiel stood her ground, arms folded over her chest.
"Munchlax! Charge forward and use Last Resort!"
Without a moment's hesitation, he ran forward braving the burns that came. But his pace didn't slow and as soon as he was close enough, he leapt forward to hit against the Numel.
