"Time ta find another Pokemon. This route has 'em. And they're all ripe fer the takin'. Ready, Jester?"
The young Pokemon clung onto his mistress's shoulder, taking advantage of her height as he peered around curiously. The world was wondrously large with a plethora of vegetation, section of sky, and seemingly endless patches of dirt within view. Andrea had decided to wield the recently hatched Poke as her companion for today. Hopefully he could hold up against the wild creatures that wandered the confines of this forest.
"Sniv," he replied, simply.
"Righto. There should be somethin' of interest around here."
The coordinator's luck had been good so far. So her hope for just as much fortune for today left her motivated.
"Keep on the alert, boy. Ya never know what might hop out."
The Pancham was utterly sick of this leaf's taste. It was horrible and plus it was making her face crunch up into an unseemly leer, not one quite so fitting for the would be princess of the Pancham kingdom. That she made up in her head, of course. It was complicated, okay? Anyway, back to the point, the leaf tasted like shit, and it needed to be spat somewhere. She spat it, unknowingly at the foot of a trainer, while her sourness-induced leer was still on her face. Damned misunderstandings.

"What. The. Fuck."
Andrea could deal with a bunch of disrespectful bullshit. But being spat upon, intentionally or not, was where she drew a fine line. As her look slowly warped into a dark glare that was cast toward the fuzzy fighting-type, she reached into her pocket to retrieve her Pokedex. Jester was left to visibly shudder upon her shoulder, having had the misfortune of having his gaze clash with the fighting-type.
"Pancham, the Playful Pokémon. Though it tries to look tough, Pancham has trouble being taken seriously by opponents."
"Huh," she muttered.
"Snivy," the grass-type mumbled, his distaste obvious.
"Tackle."
Snivy immediately launched himself from his mistress's shoulder, thrusting his body toward the Pancham with intent to harm.
overgrow - - lvl 05 - - healthy
tackle - - leer jester was hit by leer! jester's defense was lowered! jester used tackle on pancham!
The human seemed angry, and when the Pancham shouted out, the Snivy ended up attacking it instead- ugh, how annoying. The tackle hit her squarely, but the wild pokemon attempted to take advantage of the close quarters and tried to grab the snivy with its hands and tackle it into a near by tree repeatedly. It would learn not to mess with her, she hoped. Meanwhile in the absence of something to chew on, in the back of its mind the Pancham considered eating the Snivy's tail. It looked awfully delicious.
pancham was hurt by tackle! pancham used tackle! pancham used tackle!

"Sniv!"
The grass-type grunted in pain as he was tackled into a near-by tree, his body slamming into the roughly textured wood with a soft thump. Just as the Pancham moved for a second go, the young creature responded with a Leer, eyeing glowing with an ominous light.
"Dodge it!"
Andrea's orders were followed in a hurried fashion, Jester executing a simple wiggle coupled by a leap that freed his naturally smooth body from the creature's grip.
"Now you Tackle it into the tree," the girl said.
Having slipped behind the creature, Jester sneered as he followed up the command by lunging toward the Pancham with the intent of wielding the tree against it as well.
"Snivy!"
overgrow - - lvl 05 - - injured
tackle - - leer jester was hit by tackle! jester dodged tackle! jester used leer! jester used tackle!
The Pancham could only watch as the Snivy wriggled free, and his failed attempt to dodge only resulted in a worse bruising when she hit the tree as a result of a tackle. The leer had caught her off guard, and now she was sure she had a heacahce. She wildly attempted another tackle in rushed fear and anger.

"Sniv!"
"Try to dodge it!"
The Pancham's rush was harsh and lined with malice. The creature was obviously hurt, its movements hampered by its injuries yet its desire to survive applying much more force to its strikes. Jester managed to dodge one attack, but the other met his body with full force. Releasing a high-pitched shout of agony, the Snivy struggled to stand from his downed position.
"C'mon, boy! Pancham's almost down for the count! Keep it goin'!"
"Snivy!"
Managing to barely correct his posture, the creature's eyes flashed.
"Leer!"
An ominous glow entered his gaze once more, a low noise akin to a growl escaping the grass-type as he locked his eyes onto the severely injured fighting-type.
"Now Tackle!"
With a warrior's cry, Jester gathered the remainder of his strength and launched himself toward Pancham with gusto.

Frozen in place by yet another eerie leer, Pancham watched terrified, unable to help itself get away from the incoming tackle. It's last hope were it's teeth, and even when the blow knocked the consciousness out of the poor poor pokemon, it found itself slumping forward and letting its teeth rest on something soft an chewy. Wa it the Snivy’s tail? She’d probably find out once she woke up.

Once Pancham was down for the count Jester collapsed, breathing heavily as he stared at nothing in particular, gaze unfocused. Thankfully, he barely managed to avoid the Pokemon's gnawing teeth. But just barely. Andrea hurried to scoop him up, uttering a few praises before producing his Pokeball and returning him inside the comfortable red and white sphere.
"Good job, boy."
Andrea tossed a capsule at the fallen wild Pokemon, a pleased grin forming as she realized that this particular addition to her team would be perfect.
"Alrightie. Time to keep it going. Who's next?"
She briefly considered her available Pokemon. It was only when she realized that her dragon-type required some battle experience did she summon her. The Pokemon shook a bit, appearing immensely pleased that she was allowed sometime to roam outside the confines of her capsule.
The little pooch was the runt of the batch, and she hated it, but she was pretty pathetic so she didn't know how to argue when the pack told her to stay away from hunting their prey otherwise she’d bring them bad luck. So she made up her own game- it was called chasing! She’d chase down a prey she made up. That prey just happened to be running circles around a nearby human, and so Poochyena followed it, howling all the way
pancham was captured! poochyena appeared! poochyena runs around Andrea! poochyena used howl! (+attk) what will Andrea do?

"Whoa!"
Andrea jumped a bit in surprise once she witnessed a hyped Poochyena at her very feet that howled and panted excitedly. The woman stared at the furry creature, and a smile eventually slipped its way onto her face as she began to recognize the canine as a dark-type. Yet another potential addition to her team.
"Ha! Pretty cute! Sheeva!"
The dragon-type blinked in confusion at the tiny creature that circled around her mistress - chasing something notably non-existent.
"Ember! Ember now!"
Andrea quickly hopped away from the pair, not willing to allow her own clothing to be damaged because of her Pokemon's ability to wield the fire-type move. The Bagon belched out a collection of heated energy, the flaming molten bits launching itself toward the small Poochyena.
What! Damn that human- she lost sight of her prey thanks to her jumping around. The poochyena howled at the girl in annoyance, and she of course completely missed the fact that the real danger was coming from a pokemon. The first ember fell in her blind spot, but she instinctively dodged the next bullets and landed on all fours. Some were hit, some were miss- the attack didn't hurt that much. Or maybe it was just the adrenaline. Alright! It was a battle. She'd prove to everyone she was just as good as they were. Her previously howling had her pumped, and she lunged forward to tackle the dragon.
poochyena used howl! (+attk) poochyena was hit by ember! poochyena uses tackle twice!

The Tackle hurt. It hurt a lot, actually. Despite Sheeva's ability to remain efficiently defensive, its howls resulted in a attack that caused the Bagon to stumble back with a painted grunt. Detecting the dark-type's attempt to execute the simple form of attack once more, the dragon-type flailed her arms weakly, erecting a gleaming barrier that prevented the dark-type from striking.
"Let it fall, girl! Use another Ember!"
Andrea observed the match with a mirthful grin, genuinely amused by the Poochyena's spirit.
"Bagon!"
The Pokemon stomped down in determination, allowing the erected barrier to quickly fade as she inhaled sharply and breathed out the hot fiery mixture toward the canine once more. Now sporting a few injuries, Sheeva found the motivation to take this match seriously despite the wild Pokemon's silly behavior.

Oh dear. Another ember. The bullets were very hard to dodge, and impossible to block. Prey like this was much more difficult than her play-pretend, but somehow the battle just fired her up even more! She lunged forward with another tackle, before quickly realizing that the heat she was feeling wasn't just from the battle- her fur had been burnt. The damage from the burn crippled her, but even while on her knees she looked up and howled at the opposing team, only wishing there was some way to win.

The coordinator smirked as she realized that the dark-type had been inflicted with burn.
"Dodge!"
The Bagon succeeded in avoiding the desperate lunge, stepping aside and eyeing the injured wild Pokemon with obvious curiosity. The status ailment was obvious, and it was likely that Poochyena could do little else at this point of time. Andrea clicked her tongue, a pang of sympathy causing her to gesture to her dragon-type.
"Knock it out good, girl," she instructed.
Andrea had little choice but to decide upon heading back to the nearest town after this. She only had a single Pokeball left, and it was meant for this little fuzzball that howled before her. Plus, the newest additions to her team would require medical treatment soon.
"Bag-on," Sheeva replied, beginning to glow a dim shade of crimson.
The dragoness launched herself toward the dark-type, snarling furiously as she moved to roughly shove at the creature with her body and knock the remainder of her health down.
