Nick is pretty nice when you first meet her, but she's actually kind of an asshole. She's a driven individual who focuses most of her time on her projects than on people. Not to mention she comes from a far-out place like Fallarbor, where everyone is a terrible gossip. Secrets are never safe with her, even if it's between friends. Though, she can be a good friend. She's not the greatest listener or the greatest support, but she'll watch out for a friend's back. Despite her flaws, she really does care about her friends.

And, well, it helps that she's aiming for a position of power so. Gotta network and make lots of friends for when she becomes Champion of Hoenn.

Hatred[hey-trid]

Noun. Intense dislike or extreme aversion.

Now, Nick might leave a few upset people in her wake because of her tendency to brush off people. She might have friendly rivals or rivals on "decent" terms, but rarely enemies. That might change later down the road, but for now Nick's just a kid from a farming community who doesn't know any better. Although she can certainly talk trash when prompted. Perhaps the only things that set her off are when people underestimate her for being from a backwoods town or when people are slow. She's on a tight schedule for success, and no one should step in the way.

Romance[roh-mans]

Noun. A romantic affair or experience.

Ohhhhh boy. Romance isn't at the top of Nick's priorities right now, and she'd rather not get distracted by pretty people. But, (and Nick will never admit this) she's a sucker for the traditional romantic stuff. Roses, flowers, chocolate, the simple things. It's just that she's never had a chance to experience that for herself, y'know? And it doesn't help that Fallarbor residents never kept their nose out of a juicy scandal, like the time they found out the kids from opposing families of coordinators were dating. Yeahhhh, she'd rather not go through all that trouble dating someone.

Of course, you can try though. (She tends to stutter a lot when flirted with.)

yoooo lethe o/ okay, so, I've been thinking very very hard for this (and mainly stalking your threads to get a better grasp of your char o/ gomen not gomen; i stalk what i like ;') .. a whole lot lol).

anyways, tbh, I think Nick and Horace would have a great acquaintanceship really. horace is not really thinking of doing anything in particular other than aiding trainers and becoming a sort of mentor to them. when it comes to pokémon trainers, horace appears to be quite strict with them a bit; considering they're doing what they can to be strong for reasons of their own. horace, who knows this desire quite well would lend in a hand to this. maybe even train nick on the moves and the abilities of her pokémon. train her in a way that would give her a different perspective of a pokémon.

although not technically close, I think they could also bloom to have a wonderful friendship really! though, mind you, horace at first can be a bit of the arrogant type since he doesn't speak a whole lot, there's always short pauses when he speaks. but, i was thinking that as it starts out; it would be a very very awkward start for them. (i.e. horace is sleep deprived and he accidentally falls on top of nick by accident or horace saves her and her pride is hurt, or something, idk) go ahead and hmu on skype ^.^

hmm i can see them butting heads because of their personalities (one is chill, one is angry at least 50% of the time). they'd probably bicker over who's style of raising pokémon is better, but she'd see how horace's style has its pros (after a lot of persuading ofc). i like this setup because rebellious pupil + stern mentor = lots of bickering lol.

nick would definitely keep horace around for his advice and different perspective because she likes to hear from other people! though it'll be hard since she's lived in a close-minded community her whole life, but she's trying.

Oh fudge, she's just so cute. Nia wants to cuddle her up and eat chocolate with her. Really though, Nia would think of her like a little sister. If they were to ever meet - on route or something - she would be behind Nick 100% and be rooting for her. (just, you know, ignore the fact that Nia's team aqua. shh....)

Do not apologize, I love the length and couldn't be happier that you're as excited about this cutemess of a sistering couple as I am. Nia would def try and explain that her reason for joining Aqua is pre much all selfish, and that she doesn't really believe in the strange eco-terrorist actions they want to unleash. She is basically just there in order to get what she wants from the contacts she can make. Yeaaaah.
