Fidel Bolivar"what is a kid doing out here?" max doesn't have a good relationship with children. part of the time because they are usually running away from her and her experiences with them as kids. therefore she swore off ever having kids or dealing with them. But maybe seeing fidel after she was so destroyed, max would help her train. magikarp was one of her favorite pokemon as a kiddo and she even has a stuffed toy of one. perhaps the two could bond over the sheer awesomeness of magikarp and childish dreams. possibly a sisterly relationship.

maximus prime"at least i'm not an old hag!" i think fidel would be at oldale by the time they met, so she could see fidel's burn marks and they could go from there! fidel would explain her plight of training a magikarp and bond over that! i think max's smart, pragmatic personality would really contrast fidel's optimistic, idealistic personality. i definitely see fidel's innocence and gullibility playing a part in max's older sister relationship.
