hello calamity! we're nearing the two months mark in a few weeks. how time flies! right now we have two things going on that need your participation. the first is an activity check! it is impotant that you check in so you don't lose your face claim. the second is the otm nomiations! we're doing it a bit different than last time. so please submit your nominations in. a vote thread will be up in the next few days. there will also be a formal event coming very soon, so keep your eye out for that. keep being cool!
we're currently about to host calamity's first contest in slatepor. trainers are flocking to the city to see, the city's been trying to get good pr since the gala, and it seems to be working! they're asking for both coordinators and volunteer judges to sign up.

Leah's tricky to get along with. She's not blatantly rude to every person she meets, but she isn't really a good person, either. She enjoys chaos and believes that life exists for the purpose of entertainment so it will be hard to get her to act for anyone's betterment except her own. She doesn't really like friends, and most people are either under her- weaklings, inferiors, workers or just people that she deems will never succeed. And then there are others, who are above her and will be brought down meticulously for her gain in the future. To get her to view you as an equal requires proving yourself, but you'll get a pretty good friend once you do. She loves any and all rebels, and was once acquainted with team magma not too long ago. Even then though it;s hard to be permanently friendly with a girl like Leah. You can like her one day and even laugh and drink together, and the next she treats you like dirt. All like ships have a little hate in them, unless you are from her distant childhood.
HATESHIPS
Arrogant. Rebellious. Pretentious. Sadistic. Cynical. Yeah, Leah's far easier to hate than she is to like, and hateships go two ways with her- either you hate her (most likely) and she proceeds to tease, mock and humiliate you to enrage you further or she hates you (usually only if you assert a position over her, which is hard for her to accept) and she actively tries to find ways to ruin you or get ahead of you. Rivalries are something that are very common place with her. She's a coordinator who is confident she's better than everyone else, so she will probably step on a lot of toes!
LOVESHIPS
Er. How can anyone stoop as low as to fall in love with some like this? Leah likes flirting it up with both sexes, even though she's homosexual and has never actually been with a person of the male gender, a lot of her childhood was spent pretending she was straight so. Currently she is trying to forget her remains of love and hate she feels for her long time hate love partner, Maximus Prime, while also trying to sort out her feelings for Ai Matsuka. If you do fall in love with Leah and she is mad enough to take a liking to you, expect passion and fire.
THE EMPRESSES' MOON: "...leah...i'm calling you...can you hear me?...i want to come home again..." she's a soft voice in the wind calling out to leah. her voice is gentle and caring; she wants to go back into leah's arms again. to be comforted and warm again. what's there to say now? ai and leah share a bond stronger than most of the House of Cards (except for sam; since sam has always been ai's childhood friend). their reunion causes ai to be in denial, and also be conflicted. you know what would be nice for this? a good side deal of pain and them yelling at one another. ai shouting to leah that it's all her fault, how she's been a fake from the beginning (brought up her addiction and her medical condition). and leah, in a heat of this, shouts back at her, telling her that nothing has been the same. how could she be a blind fool? she was the one to bring them together, to have them smile, to laugh. to, of all, keep them happy. "so...stop being foolish and come back...ai..." leah's only concern now? anything, for all she knows, ai's dead. even the thought of bringing the girl back would be in a dream. so seeing ai again would bring back the troubling/bubbling feelings back in her chest. the explosion of raw emotions between the two of them would erupt to the point where even leah can't help herself and bring the girl close to her. "..i don't want to leave you again leah..." xP idk i decided to write this.

THE MOON'S QUEEN: "you're gone, why should i trust you when i know you'll leave again!?" leah's always been a sister. one close to her heart. ai could never let herself down when she left. to everyone and everything she's ever done. harbouring guilt on her shoulder and in her chest. raw emotions goes through her when she see's leah again. overwhelmed with emotions, the girl can only stand there and see leah in the distance. "i just want you happy...is that wrong...?" words said to leah upon their meeting. "is it wrong...? i don't know anymore..." ai would leave immediately, her back towards leah once more. -cue the scene from IL where leah chased after ai and pulled her scarf and pull the girl into her arms- again with the raw emotions.
cries and hits lily and nods all at the same time. both of them, yes please. leah looks at her, frozen, stares, only thing she can breathe out is why, and ai answers, saying it's her fault, and leah shouts and says she brought them together, she's the reason leah is leah, and now how can she be a coward and run away? ai tells her she wants to go back, she wants to be held again, but leah shouts at her, all the years of anger and love built up to this moment. she tells her its her fault, she broke them so it's her job to set them right again, but how can they trust her now? how can they love her anymore? ai walks away, telling leah that she is cruel, leah says that every empress is cruel. and then ai turns around, walking away. leah tells her she's a coward again, and tells her that she wasn't done talking, and pulls her scarf, and they kiss. yes? yes.
i didn't mean literally for you to hit me ;; y u do dis pan. just gotta kiss the girl in order to win the girl, you know? the kiss would ofc be unexpected to ai, but she'll just want to be in leah's warmth; she's one of the reasons why she hasn't given up on the house of cards yet and disregarding her old nature.
