FRIENDS For Cliff, his whole adventure is about finding friends, both human and Pokemon. He is sociable, quick to trust, and is always up for a bit of fun. His lax and easy going nature often leads him to putting his adventure on hold to catch up with a new trainer, or explore an uncommon route. Cliff is the perfect companion on an adventure, as he will always help his friends to achieve their goals, as he seeks to find his own. However, trainers who put their own goals before their friends will rub him the wrong way. ENEMIES It is incredibly difficult to end up in this category. Cliff is here simply to have a good time, and although he may dislike someone, it takes an awful lot to end up as one of his enemies. As a loyal and outgoing person, he is quick to trust others, assuming that all others act with good intent. He is even quite understanding of members of Team Magma and Team Aqua, so long as they do not resort to extreme violence, mass spectacles that harm others, or frequent breaking of laws. It is even harder to find a rival, as he is not very competitive, and only battles because everyone else around him seems to be doing it. LOVERS Cliff is definitely interested in finding the love of his life while on his journey in Hoenn. While not one of his active goals, slowly over time a relationship could build, and he may feel comfortable asking someone out. This person would have to enjoy the fun and joy of their Pokemon, rather than trying to ruthlessly accomplish their goals. If they can be selfless and caring of others, Cliff would do anything to help his girl succeed at whatever goals she has. |

OOC: I've been looking to try and get some plotter stuff going, and figured it was selfish of me to assume someone should have to come to my plotter, so I took it upon myself to look for plotters with a lower threshhold of responses. Hopefully you don't take that the wrong way, as I'm just hoping to try and get into a groove and learn a thing or two.
You seem like a compatible person for Alastor and probably myself, so I figured we could get along just fine. I realize Alastor is exactly that sort of out-for-himself type of character, but in truth someone like Cliff could really force him to adapt a more positive outlook on friendships. Please let me know what you think! I'll be waiting until then. |

Cliff Roderick & cassandra cain cass is the type to be friendly and polite and go on her merry way to whatever magma affairs she has to deal with. if they started on the wrong foot or something, she'd be really hostile. but i also think she'd be surprised by his kindness. however, she is the leader of magma and idk how cliff would take that, lmao. ideas? Cliff Roderick & cain novakcain's a pretty cool guy. he's very chill and friendly, but he's also somewhat of a druggie LOL he tries not to do it around people, but they might end up seeing him taking a walk high every so often. if they meet like that it'd be pretty interesting. y/n? |

No worries, I would rather get involved with people who don't have that much attention on their plotters anyway. I definitely could see something between these two, since they seem like they would get a long, but there is some great potential for character development with Alastor using friends as tools. Not sure if Cliff really has that much to offer to make Alastor see him as "tool-worthy" but we can figure that out as we go. Cliff definitely isn't too offended by someone working for Team Magma, but would have difficulty being friends if he knew Alastor was involved in big crimes (lots of stealing of Pokemon, terrorist-type stuff), but simply skirmishing with Aqua isn't a big deal for him. With cassandra cain: I don't see the Team Magma being an issue for Cliff. He's alright with someone choosing to work for another Team, and he would be alright with people doing small missions or crimes for something they believe in. As far as he knows, Team Magma doesn't participate in any large captures of Pokemon or terrorist-like activity, so he would be alright. I think there may be some opportunity for these two to meet up. I don't have a lot of ideas for long-term plots for this pairing, as Cliff probably wouldn't join Team Magma or Aqua, but maybe we have them meet up and brainstorm and go from there? With cain novak: Oh definitely. I could see these two as friends. Cliff isn't exactly into drugs, and would probably try to help Cain. I can see this being a friend he keeps running into, and creating some comedic threads. |
