Once again Sylvester found himself grazing the area of Route 103, positioned somewhere outside of Oldale Town, and not yet reaching the limits of Petalburg City. It was a good area for catching pokemon to train before facing their Petalburg''s Gym Leader, though with Sylvester's luck they were either all caught already, or they simply avoided him for one reason or another. Earlier he talked with two trainers, who were actually a couple dating as they ventured for pokemon. After learning of the interesting types that inhabited the area, he couldn't leave so soon without seeing something.
However, in the distance Sylvester could make out the silhouette of another trainer coming his way. Waiting where he was to hopefully catch them as trekked the path, Sylvester noticed as they got closer that they actually looked familiar. Within a few moments their figure was made apparent to him, and he couldn't believe his eyes. Not this guy...anything but this guy.

Darius heard a rumor going on around about some strong Pokémon north of Oldale town on Route 103. He wasn't sure if this was true or not, but hell he didn't have anything better to fucking do. He didn't like backtracking either, but strong Pokémon are strong Pokémon so this was an exception. Of course a rumor was just a rumor, there was no way to prove it as true or false until Darius had tested it himself, he wanted to get there fast though, his luck with Pokémon was bad. No Pokémon he had seen so far had caught his attention.
Darius finally reached the route, it seemed empty, terribly empty. Not a single Pokémon in sight, no spectacular scenery to see at all, and nothing in his pockets to smoke, but the worst was yet to come. As he delve deeper into the already tiny route, he saw someone in the distance. "Who the hell is that? Someone who already caught the strong Pokémon?" Darius muttered to himself quietly, he approached closer and frowned. The worst has come, and its name was Sylvester Blackburne. "Not this fucking guy."

This is going to be a pain... Standing there quietly for a moment, Sylvester couldn't help but be speechless for a time. I would rather be trampled by Tauros than deal with this guy again....although. It struck him that they both likely trained their pokemon since last time, but most of all that his pokemon was now a great counter to Darius' own. "So it's you...Darius." The words were spit out with a spoonful of resentment in his tone, not even hidden the slightest as to easily let him know their meet wasn't convenient.
"I take it you're looking for some 'rare pokemon' out here, like I am?" It was an ice breaker, something that allowed their discussion to go on without growing even more bitter. Albeit, Sylvester wanted to challenge him to a battle, just to see if his Sylveon could take on Darius' Gible. Yet something told him to hold off on that for a better time, to test one another after they had some time to grow and learn as trainers. "I haven't had any luck out here so far, though others seem to think there are good pokemon hiding out here. Maybe they just like to lead others on? That or the pokemon are better at protecting themselves from trainers such as the two of us." Sylvester awaited the atypical duo of belligerence and arrogance to pour out from the trainer's mouth, just like their last encounter.

Darius's frowned turned into a look of disbelief. How, how the hell did he get here, What made him want to come here out of all places? Darius doubted he even reached Petalburg to hear about the rumor, but somehow he must of. Darius cursed the people who told Sylvester about it, but there was nothing he could about it except talk to the other Trainer. "I'd rather cuddle with a Trubbish than talk to this. . . this FREAK." Darius thought to himself. He'd be damned if he was going to be one to start a conversation between them.
"So it's you...Darius." Sylvester said with obvious hatred lurking in each word.
"Sylvester. . . I'm surprised to see you here." Darius replied with a grunt, the silence was broken and there was no turning back now.
"I take it you're looking for some 'rare Pokémon' out here, like I am?" Sylvester added giving both the trainers something to talk about.
"Of course, what other fucking reason would make ME want to be out here?" Darius said back, he was already filled up with anger just by seeing Sylvester, he desperately wanted to beat his face into his skull along with his brown puffball of a Pokémon, but Darius resisted the urge despite how strong it was. It was too soon for them to fight again, Darius didn't even catch anything new yet, who knows what Sylvester would pull out of his ass to fight him with.
"I haven't had any luck out here so far, though others seem to think there are good Pokémon hiding out here. Maybe they just like to lead others on? That or the Pokémon are better at protecting themselves from trainers such as the two of us."
"I don't see a single fucking thing in sight either, though I doubt nothing is here, no matter how lame it might be something is definitely out here. The Pokémon might not be rare or powerful, and someone might just want Trainers like us to backtrack so they can go ahead and grab the new shit." He replied, quite angrily at the thought of being tricked, he should of known not to backtrack. "And nothing can protect itself from the amazing fucking might of me and my Gible."
Darius paused for a bit, he might as well continue the conversation to something else. "What are your plans for this fucking journey? You going to get those shitty badges?"
Post by Sylvester Blackburne on Jun 25, 2015 21:42:08 GMT
"Do you mind not cursing every other sentence? It's pretty annoying, though not very surprising." Of course this probably provoked Darius, and in turn likely invited more profane language to the table. Did Sylvester care? Not really, but it was worth a try. "Why else would I be a trainer? Just to get outside every once and a while?" Truly, there was many reasons people aspired to becomes trainers. Yet most, if not all were centered around one thing—defeating the eight gym leaders.
"Yes, I plan to challenge the Gym Leader of Petalburg City soon enough. After that, I will go after the next Gym's Leader. But there's more on my list than just that." Pondering if he should confide such information in the man, Sylvester mulled it over before making his inquiry. "Darius, what do you think of Teams Aqua and Magma?"

"Do you mind not cursing every other sentence? It's pretty annoying, though not very surprising."
Darius smirked, his usually cocky smirk. "Oh of course, anything for fucking you princess, would you like a fucking cookie with that? Get over it you damn pansy." He replied, Darius was never going to stop cursing, not for a single person in the world, and especially not for Sylvester. Cursing to him was a necessity, he needed to do it to survive.
"Why else would I be a trainer? Just to get outside every once and a while?"
"Some people don't train just to get those god damn Gym badges, you idiot. Some people train Pokémon to survive all alone in the wilderness with protection, or train Pokémon so they can fulfill there dream of being to stupid super star idols, coordinators or whatever the hell you call them."Even you should know this shit, just goes to show how much a novice you are at all this stuff."
"Yes, I plan to challenge the Gym Leader of Petalburg City soon enough. After that, I will go after the next Gym's Leader. But there's more on my list than just that."
"So you and me both have similar plans, eh. . ." Darius muttered. "I plan on beating up that fucker too, I bet if you can do it, I could do it ten times over."
"Darius, what do you think of Teams Aqua and Magma?"
"They're criminals. I fucking hate criminals more than I hate goody two shoe hero boys like you." Darius said with a grunt. "If I find one I'm beating the hell out of him, no time for him or her to explain why they wanted to be in such a team." He added and then raised a brow at Sylvester. "You're not one of them, right."

This guy really is full of himself. Can't wait to see him after a great humbling. Listening on, what had been said actually surprised Sylvester, raising an eyebrow towards Darius as he replied to his question. "No, I would never join either of them. Contrary to what you might think—I'm no idiot." A dull expression overcame Sylvester, still unable to get over the fact Darius couldn't stop from cursing and being belligerent all over the place. What was up with that? Was it his upbringing? Was it all a facade to appear tough?
"So...how's your Gible doing? You think they've gotten much stronger since our battle?" Intended to provoke him further, Sylvester wondered if it would invoke a battle between them once more. While he wasn't exactly hoping for it, the trainer didn't know what else to do with himself. Darius was an exceptionally unnerving person, and if given the chance Sylvester would not hesitate to show him up. "I know my pokemon has gotten much stronger since then. Even I am surprised how far Marley has come."
Post by Darius Valentine on Jun 25, 2015 23:56:09 GMT
"Could a puffball ever turn into something strong? What is it now a bigger puffball. Hah weak..." Darius thought to himself, grinning at the image of the Pokémon in his head. He didn't comment on it though, Sylvester would get his panties in a twist if Darius said anything about his precious Eevee.
"No, I would never join either of them. Contrary to what you might think—I'm no idiot." Sylvester replied raising a brow back at Darius.
"Are you sure, you did seem like one before butting your head in the wrong persons business." Darius sneered back, snickering a bit. The face he was making was absolutely dull, did Darius finally break him? He hoped so, when will Sylvester learn how insignificant he is to Darius.
"So...how's your Gible doing? You think they've gotten much stronger since our battle?"
"Of course, every Pokémon of mine will rise in power. Crushing everything it's way with me." He replied grinning, nothing was going to stop him once he had all his members assembled. "How about your "Marley" has it grown into anything special, has it given up battling after Gible beat it. Did it cry after Gible beat it?" Darius wasn't trying to instigate a battle, but if one was to break out Darius would not back down. He'll show up Sylvester any day.
"I know my pokemon has gotten much stronger since then. Even I am surprised how far Marley has come."
Post by Sylvester Blackburne on Jun 26, 2015 1:05:44 GMT
"I'm not so sure about that. Marley would probably traumatize your Gible this time around. As you can see..." Reaching into the depths of his coat, Sylvester retrieved the pokeball known to contain Marley inside. Clicking it's button and allowing it to grow in his hand, he released the contents as to allow the pokemon to stand next to Sylvester in a display of it's recent growth.
"Marley here has already evolved into Sylveon, a fairy type pokemon." A subtle smirk appeared upon his lips, staring Darius in the eyes as he wondered what his response would be. "Marley may not look so tough, but against your Gible—a dragon type? Well, I don't think we'd have so much trouble next time we decide to battle." Before Sylveon could make much of an appearance, Sylvester allowed the pokeball to confine Marley once again. He didn't truthfully want to battle right now, as it had only been so long since their last run-in with one another. "Anything new for you and your pokemon?"

"I'm not so sure about that. Marley would probably traumatize your Gible this time around. As you can see..." Sylvester said to Darius, reaching into his pocket retrieving his Sylveon's Pokéball. He then let it out to show Darius. Darius was disgusted by the sight of the Fairy Type, he didn't show it though. Darius despised these Fairy Type Pokémon they were just too cute and cuddly for a tough guy like him, he hated even more that his Gible was weak to such a pathetic type. He didn't have any response for Sylvester. "Marley here has already evolved into Sylveon, a fairy type pokemon. Marley may not look so tough, but against your Gible—a dragon type? Well, I don't think we'd have so much trouble next time we decide to battle." He added
"I can see that you twat." Darius grunted with a frown. "Ashamed of your lose that you had to evolve your Eevee into this pink thing to give it an advantage next time?" He sneered at Sylvester. "That's pretty pathetic." Darius cracked his knuckles. "We'll see about that Sylvester, see if your Pinky can stand up to my Gible next time." Darius assumed the next time they met a battle would go down for sure.
"Anything new for you and your pokemon?" Sylvester asked and Darius nodded in response. "Of course there is watch this." He said and reached into his maroon pea coat. He pulled out Gible's bright red and shiny Pokéball, clicking the button making the ball enlarge in his palm, he then pressed it again releasing the Land Shark Pokémon. "Gible, Sandstorm." He commanded and placed on some goggles he had. The wind would pick drastically and the dirt on the ground would lift off into the air causing a massive Sandstorm in the area. "You see this! This is the power of my Gible!"
Post by Sylvester Blackburne on Jun 26, 2015 2:13:00 GMT
I should've known better... Right after showing his evolved pokemon to Darius, the douche had to go and give an actual demonstration of what his pokemon could now do. Not only that, but he mocked Marley for being so cute and pink—Sylvester found it amusing, as something so adorable could utterly wipe the floor with his dragon type pokemon. Yet Darius felt as though Sylvester evolved his pokemon for that very reason, whhen in truth that wasn't the case. "You stupid ass." Waiting for the sandstorm to end, that was when Sylvester would resume speaking. Until then he covered his face, trying not to get a mouthful of sand, let alone getting any of it in his eyes.
"Marley evolved on his own after I fed him three rare candies. I had no idea it was even going to happen. If you ever meet him, you can ask my cousin Alastor for confirmation—he was there with me. Until then, cry me a river and get over it." Waiting on Darius to harass him more, Sylvester crossed his arms over his chest and wondered about what may come of their next battle—if Darius would have any other pokemon, besides his precious Gible.
Post by Darius Valentine on Jun 26, 2015 3:10:05 GMT
Darius grinned remained, he wanted to enjoy this moment. He loved to watch people suffer, and since currently it was Sylvester, he was especially going to enjoy this. He let his Gible remain outside, she was purposely stomping and kicking dirt directly onto Sylvester, which made her roar with happiness. "Gible!!!" She howled and Darius decided to help a bit, kicking sand onto Sylvester's shoes.
"You stupid ass." Sylvester said quickly
"What too much for you to handle?! If I was you I'd get used to this type of terrain!" Darius said with a snicker. "Ahh if you're not ready for this maybe you should head the fuck home and quit being a trainer." He allowed the Sandstorm to rage on for the next few minutes, he was enjoying this and so was his Gible. A good ten minutes had past, and Dylan had decided it was time to return it Gible, he pressed the button having the red lightning suck up his Gible and drag it back inside it's Pokéball. "Did you enjoy that Sylvester?" He said laughing again.
"Marley evolved on his own after I fed him three rare candies. I had no idea it was even going to happen. If you ever meet him, you can ask my cousin Alastor for confirmation—he was there with me. Until then, cry me a river and get over it."
"Alastor? Who the fuck is Alastor, the poor guy must hate being related to you." Darius says back, his laugh and smile fading. "And Rare Candies? Pfft, Gible and me got stronger by hard training."
Post by Sylvester Blackburne on Jun 26, 2015 3:52:25 GMT
"Yes Darius, I can tell you and your Gible have been training very hard." It was blatant sarcasm, as Sylvester felt as though he'd had just about enough of Darius for the day. "Trust me, that sandstorm isn't anything to be so ecstatic about. One pokemon isn't going to win our next battle." Whether or not Darius would be able to do the same, Sylvester had already captured another pokemon, and even had a pokemon egg in his person. He desperately hoped it would hatch in time for him to train it, as it was apparently a rare pokemon—something a bit desirable for most trainers who aspired to have a fire type pokemon.
"Have you caught any other pokemon yet, or is that why you've come all the way here?" It was a good question, as it would allude to Sylvester just exactly how much progress Darius had made. So far it didn't seem like very much, though depending on the extend of sandstorm's effects—perhaps it would prove a considerable nuisance in the battle to come. Maybe I should invest in some goggles.

"Yes Darius, I can tell you and your Gible have been training very hard." Sylvester said, the sarcasm in his voice made Darius roll his eyes. Sarcasm was stupid, Darius would rather insult some straight up then use sarcasm. It almost seemed cowardly to Darius, Sylvester needed to man up a bit in his eyes.
"Trust me, that sandstorm isn't anything to be so ecstatic about. One pokemon isn't going to win our next battle." Sylvester added.
"This one Pokémon obviously isn't good enough now, why the hell do you think we came here again? I'm pretty fucking sure the both of us were disappointed in what we found on this shitty route." Darius replied, he removed the goggles from his face pocketing them. "I still don't think anything is fucking here."
"Have you caught any other pokemon yet, or is that why you've come all the way here?" Sylvester said desperately trying to change the topic from his pathetic self and Sylveon, well in Darius's eyes anyway.
"No, I came here looking for some, but found you instead. Huge disappointment like I said before." Darius grunted. It was extremely apparent that Darius needed Pokémon, and he was going to find one way or another on this damned route. He was just about done with Sylvester, but waited for one last reply to all this bullshit.
"I hope you know I really DON'T like you Sylvester."
WORDS 235 TAGSSylvester Blackburne NOTES One more post for you, and one more for me I'll finish it.

"The feeling is mutual." Did this moron think Sylvester liked him, or something? He was a complete asshole, and arrogant to boot. He had some of the worst qualities a person could have, but at least he was headstrong—something that very well could benefit a trainer trying to capture and train only the most brutal of pokemon. But that did not quite mean Darius had anything over Sylvester. Perhaps he lost their first battle, but the next one would be the deciding factor in this little feud of their's.
"Well, I have already caught what I need to feel comfortable moving ahead. You can go ahead and squander around all you'd like. You can let me know if you do find anything the next time we meet. Until then...well, let's hope it will be awhile until then." Sparing him a smirk that suggested he was growing impatient with their discussion, Sylvester gathered his composure and possessions before heading further down the route and making his way to Petalburg City.
