Me And My Best Friend Spite [wild/c]

Dirk had just kicked his journey off...and it was a bad start. Almost every dragon pokemon he knew of and liked was consideed rare, and the pokemon Professor Birch gave him back at his lab? Well, let's just say it was not meant to fly, but it unfortunately was still weak to fairy types. This upset him greatly, though he supposed he would try to make due...for now at least, unless he gave into his smoking habit and quit being a Coordinator to become a "drug addict". At least then he would only have himself to be unhappy with, and not this under-appreciated dog known as the dark type species "Absol".

Which was exactly why he and his pokemon, Absol, encroached the high grass of Route 101 together to give this lifestyle a try. "I suppose I should name you..." The pokemon looked at him with mild interest. "How about...Spite?" Almost as if smiling, the pokemon's lips curled before he gently nudged Dirk with the scythe-like ornament that naturally grew from his head. "Alright then, that's settled." Resuming their way into the dense high grass, they noticed a rustling ahead coming from under the vegetation.

Walking towards it with Spite at his side, whatever was rustling the grass also seemed to be moving towards them, almost as if intentional. 'What is it?'

Dirk had the feeling he was about to find out...
