If anything, Odale was a quiet place. At nine pm exactly, the streets were deserted and a few shops within the town had closed up for the night. Maria found it strange, but oddly relaxing as well. There was no one to accost her on the street, no groups of kids to worry about, nothing that really crossed her mind about the place. One might say that she didn't have an opinion on the tiny town, but she did. She liked it. After arriving, she had booked her room at the Pokemon center and taken a stroll around. Not finding much to keep her occupied, she had returned to her room, taken a nap, eaten a light dinner, and now, here she was. A slight breeze passed over her bare arms and legs, the scent of mid spring stinging the air around her. It was a good smell, she decided with a quick nod of her head, one that she wouldn't mind bottling and keeping for a fragrance later on. Her steps were unhurried and quiet as she veered away from the Pokemon Center. She wasn't tired, not really, and while being out and walking with an egg wasn't really something that she had put on her to-do-list, she did it anyway. A hand smoothed over the hard shell and she pursed her lips as she gazed at it. Supposedly, the baby inside was a Zorua and alone, the species was quite rare. While interesting information, Maria wasn't sure if she wanted to keep the little dear when the time came. Hell, she still wasn't entirely sure how she managed to convince that little rattata to come with her and Dante, yet, it had happened. A tiny sigh puffed from her cheeks. She was a woman of planning and action, not haphazard luck. It was unnerving, in a way, and while she couldn't directly put her finger on why it was unnerving, she knew that she didn't like it. Perhaps she would leave the decision on whether she kept the Zorua for the morning. There was no use thinking about it in the dark when everything was muddled and unclear. Zorua Egg Thread 2/2 | |
