BIOGRAPHY - born the youngest child in a household of older brothers noah fought to find his place in the region of johto, only to give up and be brought to it when he was least expecting it. he met his childhood friend during school, found that unlike all the others, he was someone to keep around rather than shun away like the rest. they were inseparable after that, in a friendship noah had never experienced before. when the time came to travel they did, much like his brothers before him and his parents before that -- but when their first gym match came with no victory like his friend, he felt lost. too childish to realize how trivial it was and too stubborn to let things go he left, traveling off to another region to make a name of himself -- to show his friend that he was ahead like always -- before getting sidetracked along the way while growing up alone.
- it was there noah grew to be how he was prior to that friendship, as someone too quiet and reserved for his own good. and when he fell into the wrong crowd, found ties with people most other citizens would turn away from, it only worsened his already rigid personality. being alone brought some good. it left him void of distractions, a clarity in the form of silence that came with pushing people as far away as possible. he was able to focus on work -- focus on things that passed the time away -- and focus on everything else but what he had set out to do. years passed and, physically, he wasn’t the boy he used to be; and neither was his friend.
- his past always had a way of creeping back up on him, and this time it was in the form of a young man -- red hair and red eyes, staring back at him from within a crowd where he had tried to duck into. back then he didn’t want to face what he had done and when presented with questions he didn’t want to answer he pushed. they argued the first day they met again after so many years; they stayed together in his apartment by the end of the day. it was nice being together again, fighting like they always did -- arguing like never before from the strain he had placed on their relationship -- and picking up from where they left off.
- things are just like they were before, a little different -- a little strange -- but all the same. hes found his place in the world again, beside that boy whose more than happy to grin up at him or call him out on habits he was unaware of. they’re older but still so young, in a region of problems he wants nothing more than to shield his friend from. he can’t, not the way he wants to at least. trials come, tribulations that want to break them (and they nearly succeed) but things work, his place in this world still present, albeit now a little different. there was a night of fireworks that ended something strange, brought on by a moment where his bravado breaks -- and its continued one night, within the small room of his apartment meant for one but shared by two. they kiss, so simple a gesture that feels more right than wrong.
- everything’s different; a change of pace is in order. things aren’t how they used to be and while too soon to tell he can’t help but see it as good. it’s troublesome to leave a region he has lived in for years but really when it was all said and done it was a load off his shoulders. this will be a new start, in a region he has only heard of but never explored -- reliving their childhood of adventure he had cut short at an early age.
