[attr="class","sv3"] This is a candied world, and it spreads like fire. When it devours me I call the burning 'fun', but I never really was the purist one. Though I try to cleanse my soul with every sun. And I just get deeper in the same shit but doesn't everyone? Close my eyes and play along.
He's not pleased to be back in the city that gave birth to him. The towering buildings on the cusp of wildlife often made it known to the public as a bridge between technology and nature, but all the trainer sees is a prison. A prison per capita dependent on how much money you had, and how much you could contribute to the city itself. Even now, freed from this prison he still feels chained down by it, these streets suffocating him. It's almost entirely apparent by his mood as he continues through the city. He's coming from 'his' side of town having picked up some clothes from an apartment long since abandoned, changing his style up before continuing his journey. His expression is neutral if a little more aggressive as he walks through the city streets focused on nothing in particular, beside him a certain sea otter wondering about the almost drastic change in the trainer's behavior since arriving it into the city. It's only when he passes through one of this district's famed parks do his eyes perk up slightly. Buizel himself running forward extremely interested in the spectacle.
Having nothing better to do, and needing to leash the sea otter the trainer walks forward red eyes focused on woman and the technique she seems to be practicing with her own team. He recognizes the move as ice beam, and so he finds a bench and sits not too far across watching the woman practice the move with her pokemon content to enjoy the show for now. Buizel being the pokemon it was however watched the event much closer than his trainer the technique inspiring a sort of awe in the pokemon far exceeding Miles' own interests. Hopefully the woman in charge of the performance doesn't mind an audience.

frost, her recently hatched sneasel, took to the move ice beam surprisingly well. she flexed her claws as she successfully fired off yet another one. the young pokemon would look to her human mother afterward, grinning widely as she was praised by the female each time.
"that's my girl!"
giving her cheerful ice-type a thumbs up, the young creature responded by preforming a little hop of victory.
"sneas!" she crowed.
she released yet another ice beam, allowing the chilled energy to be thrust into the air. it dissipated quickly, becoming naught more than pretty sparkles that fluttered in the sky before vanishing completely.
"come on, girl," she crooned, opening her arms.
frost eagerly hurried toward the girl, and the coordinator plucked her from the ground and arranged her comfortably into her arms. her fingers gently petted the single feather that was attached to the creature's skull. the young pokemon responded by nuzzling into her mistress's bosom affectionately.
"hey, those aren't pillows, ya know?"
she noticed the boy and his buizel afterward, and decided to cast them a friendly grin.
"wassup, stud?"
"sneasel?"
the ice-type eyed the buizel curiously, flexing her claws somewhat as she noticed how much stronger she appeared in comparison to herself. she released a delighted giggle as andrea pressed gentle kisses onto her round face.
"nice buizel ya got there. looks like a real champ."

He watches another beam freeze in midair, only for it to dissipate into tiny sparkling crystals too small to even grasp before disappearing entirely. Ice beam truly was a beautiful move that much certain to the man. He seems to have come at the end of the show though. The pokemon preforming having jumped into her trainer's arms now held loosely against her chest. Buizel can't help but clap at the final display watching the sparkles disappear into nothingness.
Shortly after the girl turns towards him smiling happily. Leaving him to wonder if he can ever smile so freely. She calls out to him her choice of words peculiar but cute in their own right. "Stud?" He can't help but laugh, "Hardly." She tends to her Sneasel while Buizel runs back to his trainer excited now. Waving at the dark type all the while. After having watched the Sneasel the water type himself gives it a try only for the otter pokemon to release a torrent of water in a direction away from both the trainers and the pokemon alike. A little disheartened by his own performance the pokemon returns to his trainer leaving it to red haired man to console him.
A quick pat on the head does the pokemon good, but still he seems slightly disappointed. "A cute girl with a strong pokemon, must be my lucky day." He stands moving closer to the girl and her pokemon Buizel only a step or two steps behind the trainer. "Sorry for staring, just a little bit in awe by your 'show'. Seems like the champ over there is a little jealous, though it looks like you and your pokemon are the real champs honestly.
"yer too kind," andrea replied, grinning at the boy and his praise. "c'mon, frost, don't be shy."
"s-sneasel."
the baby sneasel was set down, releasing a small whine of complaint as she was removed from her mother's arms. reaching up, she frowned as andrea denied her and gestured toward the duo.
"say hello, girl. he jus' praised ya. show yer appreciation, yeah?"
"sneasel."
blinking up at the human girl, the pokemon hesitantly turned toward the buizel and its master. she approached, claws behind her back and head slightly bowed as she blinked up at the older pokemon.
"sneasel," she greeted.
"that's my girl!" andrea said, chuckling as the display of bashfulness.
"s-sneasel? sneasel, sne sneasel."
the ice-type, having witnessed the buizel's earlier display, questioned how strong it was. she was so much smaller than the furry pokemon, and her voice quivered slightly as she spoke. usually the weasel was much more bolder and mischievous, but only anxiety filled her at the present moment.
"frost is still a baby," andrea explained. "she ain't use ta meetin' other pokemon outside of her team, yeah? so, where are ya comin' from, hotshot?"

Buizel is far more animated than the Sneasel, the dark type pokemon shy while the water type energetic, perhaps a bit too energetic to be entirely honest. When the Sneasel bows both the trainer and the pokemon alike flash a smile at the smaller pokemon the trainer hoping not to scare the ice type, while the water pokemon just hopes to make a new friend. The trainer watches the woman support her pokemon showing a physical connection he hasn't seen from any trainer thus far in his journey. If he had to say the man would call the love tangible in a sense, the sight encouraging to say the least.
Buizel being the energetic pokemon it is begins to hop around preforming a number of cartwheels and acrobatics in what his trainer thinks is an attempt to show off himself, not wanting to be outdone by the ice beam. The pokemon's voice far more chipper than it'd been all day hanging around his trainer. With the water type showing off Miles was left to focus on the other trainer not that he minded in the slightest. Before the pokemon becomes too rowdy Miles warns the water type, "Be careful, and don't go too far." The pokemon puffs up his chest in understanding before continuing on with his antics.
"Yeah, I got a baby myself recently he's really shy around strangers in general, I don't think he's even warmed up to the team entirely yet." A short laugh, "Looks like yours is really going places though honestly she's very talented." Her next question doesn't exactly throw him off, She asks where he came from in turn he asks, " Where you headed?" An eyebrow raises, and his smile morphs itself into a smirk. "Name's Miles." he introduces himself wondering if the girl would as well.
as she spoke her eyes tracked the bouncy buizel. it appeared to be rather energetic, and her sneasel was somewhat taken aback by its overwhelming friendliness at first. eventually, frost adjusted, a smile forming upon her face and only widening as she observed the water-type.
"sneas!" she said, delighted.
"no where in particular, miles."
the girl's gaze shifted to their surroundings, her own smile taking shape as she noted the good weather and the rich scenery that surrounded them on all sides.
"headed wherever the wind takes me, yeah? at least, at the moment. i got plans, ya see."
clicking her tongue after she uttered this important tidbit, she refocused her gaze upon the male.
"i saw how ya were lookin' at that ice beam. yer buizel doesn't know it, i'm guessin'?"
the ice-type examined the male curiously, having met so few in her life. he was different from mother - much more masculine in shape and lacking the petite figure she'd associate with andrea. his chest also noticeably flat. males didn't naturally give milk to younglings. so, it made some sense.

His smile gorws at the girl continues speaking. "A pleasure. Man, I Really hit the jackpot today didn't I." He finishes the girls chipper attitude definitely having rubbed off on him. He catches Sneasel and Buizel out of his peripherals. At first the water pokemon's behavior seems to throw the dark type off, but soon enough the two begin to get along the latter adapting to his personality rather quickly. The sneasel was adaptable or perhaps it was Buizel's ability to open up to others and vice-versa? Regardless Miles was pleased the two were getting along.
"Traveling where the wind takes you huh..." He thinks on the statement for a moment particularly how similar that way of life was to his own, "It's a nice life, not being held down or back. Going wherever you feel called. I can definitely relate." He gives the girl a small grin in response. When she mentions plans he says nothing having a couple of plans of his own down the line. He's a little curious, but seeing as the two just met it's not something he feels comfortable asking, not this early in their conversation at least.
"Who says it was the ice beam I was so focused on?" A flirtatious chuckle follows as he slides a hand into his pocket pulling out another pokeball. As he reaches the red haired trainer notices the dark type pokemon staring at him intently now sizing him up in her own way. Almost on instinct he crouches down meeting the sneasel at her own level. "It's nice to meet you little miss." The water pokemon a little jealous of his trainer hogging the attention fires a small water gun in his face to the trainers annoyance. The sea otter laughing all the while
Miles shoots the water pokemon a quick glare, the pokemon knowing the two would have a little chat about his behavior later in the day. As he stands tall straightening himself the female trainer once again sparks his interest, "Is that an offer?" His eyes entirely bright with anticipation now. "I gotta say cute and kind, keep this up and I'll end up falling for you." As he speaks he pulls another pokeball hoping if it is indeed an offer perhaps another water pokemon of his could benefit as well. And so Staryu appears from the pokeball the jewel inits center eyeing everyone rather passively. "I wouldn't ask you to teach for free, but I don't have much to offer either. Best I have happens to be two IOUs, but I can say I always keep my promises."

the sneasel proceeded to guffaw as she eyed the somewhat soaked trainer's expression.
"ha, yer good with kids, i see. nice trait in a man, yeah? i'm complete shit with most brats."
andrea chuckled after she proceeded to criticize both her own patience and ability to handle your typical child. it was unlikely that she'd ever make for a good parent. her own mother did a fairly decent job - kept a roof over their head, fed 'em, clothed 'em, etc - but there wasn't much of a bond to speak of. nothing worth mentioning, at least.
"oh?"
the coordinator chuckled, her laugh raspy and light as her eyes grew notably warm - heated, actually.
"ya best be careful, stud," she crooned. "don't think ya can handle me. but... yer free ta try."
she brushed past him as she spoke, lingering slightly to ensure that a portion of her side nudged his in both a playful and sensual manner.
"sneasel! c'mere girl," she called.
the ice-type hurried after her mother, the pokemon's smile turning mischievous as she realized that the woman intended to initiate a battle.
"how about this? three on three or six on six. it's your choice. yer free ta go first, if ya like. win or lose and i'll teach ya what ya wanna know. also, i won't be usin' frost here. she ain't ready yet."

"It's all about experience." He thinks on his initial experiences dealing with children far earlier in his youth. Days where he wasn't half as patient as he finds himself now. "I'd say just the opposite, the way you work with Sneasel it looks like you'd be perfect with kids down the line." He thinks her compliment is misplaced, not that he wants or can even conceptualize the tought having kids within a ten or even fifteen year time frame if ever. Raising a child even slightly similar to himself would be a disaster, but this was all neither here nor there.
He watches the girl a cool smirk on his face now piercing red eyes watching the woman's moves and advances ever so carefully, "Who knows... I wouldn't be so sure of myself if I was you." There's a certain playful almost cockiness in his voice as he matches her wit with his own.
As she moves toward him passing him he doesn't back away, but he doesn't back down anyways tilting his head every so slightly. As she challenges him. "Three on three sounds fine, but I'm not exactly a push over either." He slides a pokeball out of his pocket walking back giving the two a sizable area to battle. With a flick of the wrist he lobs the pokeball releasing a small bulbous pokemon more than ready to battle as well.
The bulbasaur's red eyes match his trainers, waiting for his opponent. "Sorry to say I don't go easy on cute girls." The red haired trainer winks waiting for the girl to call her own pokemon.
andrea chuckled, eyeing the grass-type as it appeared in a flash. it suited the male very well, and she was satisfied knowing that she had the perfect opponent prepared to face the young grass-type. she produced a single orb, and from it came a tiny chespin who released a small excited growl. she chittered in the bulbasaur's direction, playful as she identified the creature.
"ches! chespin!"
"sneasel!"
both of the young pokemon waved at one another. andrea snapped her fingers, a gesture that meant that she would prefer that jade remained focused.
"ya ready ta rock, jade?"
the chespin released a low growl of excitement, baring her buck teeth at her foe as a grinned formed onto her features.
"use a growl. give 'em a double dose!"
the pokemon obeyed with haste, opening her maw wide as she released a series of growls that distorted the surrounding airs.
