So if I remember correctly there are two versions of Town of Salem, a browser and a Steam version not that I know much about either. But I think the game is just as fun as Cards Against Humanity, and I don't think the time it takes to play either is much longer. It's a bit more complicated though. Just thought I'd throw this idea out there, I'm considering trying to figure out the browser version and getting a few rounds in to test it. I've watched it a lot on youtube and it's amazingly fun to watch how every match breaks down. And omg the drama that ruins friendships. xD It's a fun game and has a lot more dynamics. Figured it might be a refreshing alternative. Don't take this the wrong way though, I still love Cards Against Humanity. <<; I just want to check out a few games I've never really bothered with before because playing with absolute randoms can be boring or really mood-killing. I guess I should leave a description of the game below for anyone interested in what it even is. Town of Salem is a round-based mystery game with a varying amount of players where the ultimate goal is to rout out members of an opposing team. But the twist is, you can't tell who's who without figuring out by collaborating and using abilities. So it's got some interesting variables tossed in: there are the towns or townies, who are basically the good guys. Then there is a serial killer and in some cases, a mafia and arsonists/jesters/werewolves/witches, etc. who have their own objectives and ability kits. Certain abilities progress the game quicker than others. Ultimately it's sort of like a murder mystery game, but with multiple murderers and there's actually actions to be made, it's not some generic board or card based game. It's almost like pokemon in the way it plays, I guess, maybe not the best comparison but I'll take it. ... Maybe linking a video would've been easier. :x May or may not contain bad language, etc.; proceed with caution!
