| "Hurry Risu" Usa yelled as he ran towards the the town exit. "If we don't make it to route 104 by sundown, we might miss the ferry to the big event tomorrow".
He stopped for a moment to wait for Risu. He wasn't too far behind. "This is going to be so much fun...all the trainers we're going to meet...all the new things we're going to learn". Usa gripped the egg he had been carrying for a while now, even tighter. "Onward march"...

Risu was running with his brother, heck when did his brother become the fast energetic one? So what if that battle took some time it was definitely worth it! Still this speed dating whatever that was sounds great. Free food! He wondered how good the food 'dating' had to be to be considered the main event.
"I am going we gotta get outta here fast!" He was starting to become truly excited. "We're finally leaving where we started doesn't that make you happy bro?" He questioned as he finally caught up with his brother. "Besides I am not too excited about a boat I am sure I'll get sea sick... or I'll fall off and die!"

| "You're not gonna fall off and die" Usa responded. "Just stay away from the sides and you'll be fine". The two had successfully left the town, made there way through route 102 and was on their way to the ferry docks. Usa was overran with joy and excitement. The speed dating wasn't so much what he was looking forward to. After all, he never had romantic feelings for anyone before. No, what he was most excited for, was the opportunity to meet new trainers and see new Pokemon; get a feel for how other trainers battled; and, gain valuable experience by comparing his textbook knowledge to real world experience. Yes, this was definitely the highlight of Usa's month...not counting him meeting his Absol, of course.
"Route 104 here we come!"
