Route 102 meant they were one step further into the journey. Sure, there was still quite a ways to go before Zara would consider herself accomplished, but she'd passed one route so far, and caught two Pokemon. Rava was a little stronger and the team felt well-equipped to handle whatever lay ahead. "I think," Zara began, peering over the nearby treetops, "that we have one more route after this, and then Petalburg." She seemed to be thinking quite intently about it - but Benji had said there was a beach there. The ocean. Dewford was across the water, a little town she'd heard a lot about. It would take a while to get there, though. "That's where we'll find water," she added with a smile, and Rava responded happily, letting out a couple happy bubbles and bouncing along with more energy than before. For now, she'd let the little Horsea gain in strength. There were gyms on the way before long.

 oddish♀ - level 006 - chlorophyll moveset: absorb, sweet scent out from a patch of grass by the side of the route come an oddish. she wiggled her way onto the route. hop, hop, hop she went. she bumped into the trainer and peered up. |

The little blue grass Pokemon that bumped into Zara's leg caught her off guard, and the girl panicked for a moment, jumping back quickly looking at it in surprise. An Oddish. She let out a sigh of relief, and then looked at Rava. The little Horsea wouldn't be much good here. "Hang on, Rava," she said, pulling out a pokeball from her belt and enlarging it before hitting the middle button, "we'll let Rose handle this one."
Her new Taillow flew out, letting out a little whistle before landing near the Oddish. "Alright Rose - try pecking it," Zara suggested, being about 90% sure that flying types were super-effective against grass. The Taillow hopped forward at the Oddish, suddenly moving forward with a quick series of jabs with her beak.
