hello calamity! we're nearing the two months mark in a few weeks. how time flies! right now we have two things going on that need your participation. the first is an activity check! it is impotant that you check in so you don't lose your face claim. the second is the otm nomiations! we're doing it a bit different than last time. so please submit your nominations in. a vote thread will be up in the next few days. there will also be a formal event coming very soon, so keep your eye out for that. keep being cool!
we're currently about to host calamity's first contest in slatepor. trainers are flocking to the city to see, the city's been trying to get good pr since the gala, and it seems to be working! they're asking for both coordinators and volunteer judges to sign up.

andrea is aggressive. in any relationship involving her in the general vicinity, expect a hefty dose of gusto, perversion, and pure random. her siblings were the wild sort, viciously addressing and dealing with one another on a daily basis. her mother was wholly apathetic and merely tolerated their behavior, leaving andrea to be raised within a household that honestly didn't give a fuck about fairness, sharing, and all those solid values. she smokes, has a wide range of obscenties tucked away in that mind of hers, and is irritatingly messy. she loses stuff all the time. but she makes for a good friend. andrea is loyal gal, and when she looks past her cynicism and decides to grant you her trust, you got a friend for life. don't use and abuse it, either, though, 'cause the girl can hold a grudge. she'll treat male companions like brothers and will turn on the charm toward any and all women - friend or nah.

she's lookin' for that one lovely lady so that she can put a ring on it. andrea has a soft spot when it comes to the concept of 'true love'. she wants to claim, cherish, and keep that fine woman of her dreams all to herself. one reason why she is pursuing fortune and fame is so that she can properly manage the upkeep of a future family. the chosen female'd have to be a looker, of course. with all the right kind 'o assests - yupyup. anyone who can also deal with a vulgar mouth and bad attitude would make for a grand partner.

aw, damn. so many people could fit themselves into this category that it isn't even funny. andrea's a perverted creature whom greedily desires vast amounts of wealth. she hates the pompous. she despises authority. can't stand ignorance. thieves can go eat a bomb. all of team magma and team aqua can go suck it. 'cause she personally thinks that whole land/sea dispute is all sorts of RE-DONK-U-LOUS. try touching her pokemon out of battle in a threatening manner and get knocked out. no questions asked. just a fist. in the face. she doesn't care about the police. fuck that. call 'em. you touch her shit you get kicked. end of story.

So...first, I don't know why but she makes me think of this song, Throw Sum Mo' LOL! But she's someone I could use, AND WE'RE FELLOW COORDINATORS! Yisss, she's a badass and he is in need of badass friends. So be the bad to his ass. They could hangout, go scout for hotties, drink, do whatever~! He's up for the ride. She has every right to call him "Fairy Boy" or whatever because omfg he rlly is, LOL! But then again he'll give her a nickname in return. These two being friends would just be grand honestly because comedy threads, ogod.

you already know that'd andrea'd twerk to this, my bruh. i can imagine 'em up in the club and out in the streets doin' their thing. with their jobs, i can imagine they'd discuss how fawkin' beast their own pokemon are. and the name 'fairy' has now officially stuck. he a sexy boi, so he deserves that title. i can imagine they'd make for fast friends.

Bunny's a very bubbly, sociable, happy person, and could easily get along with Andrea from what I see — they'd be a really good contrast! It might take Bunny just a little time to get used to how brash Andrea is and all the flirting (that she would love btw, so much blushing omg) but after a while I feel like they'd enjoy spending lots of time together (especially if there's a lot of romantic implications, and if Andrea likes the whole "adorable blushes at every compliment she will be my little princess that can kick butt at a cute/beauty contest yeah baby" sort of deal). In the long run, even if romance isn't a permanent option even though she's totally down, Bunny would find Andrea a ham to be around and definitely enjoy her company like a breath of fresh air! Also, Coordinator buddies!

while the romance slot is currently filled by the lovely lady castiel leingod, i can imagine andrea keeping bunny around because of how she adorable she is. as time progresses, and the woman invests her plans toward a secretive vigilante group that will spring up in the future - and depending how long bunny sticks around - she'll tug her along just like she'll tug along @prelude2 in the future as both become one of her 'pack'. also, when andrea's in a group, she tends to assert her dominance a lil', she's also somewhat protective/possessive. so, if you're willing to stay for the ride, i'd gladly accept her into the fold depending on how deep you want their relationship to be.
Bunny's willing to stay on the ride, definitely — again, I feel like her and Andrea's contrasting personalities would mesh well together once they get to know each other better. Also, they're both striving for greatness when it comes to competitions, so there could be a unified growth between them (and if Bunny needs help with a certain performance, she could definitely ask Andrea to help if she would be down, and vice versa). And Bunny never really was a leadership type, besides with her team and in competition, so she isn't opposed to being protected to a certain extent c: I think their friendship would be a really unique and interesting one, personally~
Ayyy so we were talking about this in the cbox some time ago and stuff but can we talk about country girl vs. city girl and their imminently glorious rivalry? Just imagine their trash talk.

o gosh does she have a country accent? andrea has a new york accent, so she'll be able to detect her origin through her voice and mannerisms and will tease her about it. even though she honestly finds in attractive. your gal's new nickname is 'mouse'. as in country mouse.
yEP SHE HAS ONE. and you can expect nick to mock andrea's city accent too. if we're doing nicknames, andrea's new name is "rat" as in city rat. nick tends to turn her nose up at those city folk and brag about how wholesome and friendly the countryside is. can we make a thread? *_*

Her little Andie's Mint. Even though she doesn't like chocolate, so she'd pretty much call her an Andie's Mint when she is being cross. But really, I'm pretty sure that these two are going to be hilarious together. Nia would buy her new clothes and try and get her to wear less modest things so she can show off them curves. The sister that Andrea never had? Probs Nia.

as for their relationship - hm!
i'm lovin' the sisterly bonding. all she has to do is be careful about her affiliation with team aqua. andrea will instantly turn on her if that situation does happen. but if their relationship had time to deepen first, she'd struggle with her aggression for a while.

andrea warren & Sylvester Blackburne We already talked about this just a tad OOCly, but anyway I will throw out a few things that seem to make these two compatible asides from forming "Eon" in the future.
Generally speaking, however, Andrea would be a breath of fresh air. She is very outgoing and eccentric, whereas Sylvester is nothing of the sort. He'd find her very entertaining, though would be considerably distant at first, like an audience. Her robust attitude would keep Sylvester from getting too close so soon, as she would be one of those people who gets noticed a little too easily. That is something he wouldn't want to be when confiding with others to work against Team Aqua/Magma. Sylvester has always preferred to "lay low".
I think that with enough of—or the right kind of exposure, they could find common ground. Piece by piece they'd realize their goals overlap, and even though she isn't like him so much—Sylvester, if not Andrea as well, would learn to deal with it for the greater picture in mind.
