welcome to calamity! we are an au pokemon site based in hoenn. we do not have canons so you can pick them as your fcs! we have a short one hundred word word count. and you get to also pick your own starter! calamity is going to focus on providing users with a good and stable plot line to follow. this helps each character progress and some might even have a play in affecting the plot! we hope you enjoy your time here and if you have any questions don't be afraid to ask.

hello calamity! we're nearing the two months mark in a few weeks. how time flies! right now we have two things going on that need your participation. the first is an activity check! it is impotant that you check in so you don't lose your face claim. the second is the otm nomiations! we're doing it a bit different than last time. so please submit your nominations in. a vote thread will be up in the next few days. there will also be a formal event coming very soon, so keep your eye out for that. keep being cool!
we're currently about to host calamity's first contest in slatepor. trainers are flocking to the city to see, the city's been trying to get good pr since the gala, and it seems to be working! they're asking for both coordinators and volunteer judges to sign up.

Kristmar squinted his eyes up at the clear periwinkle sky as, defeated, he gave up on trying to wring more excess water from his jean capris. It was warm and sunny out with a gentle sea breeze; with any luck perhaps the pleasant weather would dry his clothes out enough so that he'd at least not be dripping wet by the time he headed back to the guesthouse. Sighing to himself, he pinched the end of his shirt and began to shake it, airing it, in a bid to speed up the process at least a little. Consumed in his menial task, he didn't immediately notice the ekans that stealthily drew closer to his sunbathing pokémon, but his seviper did.
Kasimir lifted his large head on smelling the presence of another pokémon, his forked tongue flickering as he discerned her scent from the earthy one of damp sand, the coconutty one of his trainer and the salty one of the sea. Languidly, he slowly turned to look in her direction after pinpointing her and returned her quiet hiss. He watched her advance towards him with curiosity, watched her lithe and smaller bodice slither over the sandy ridges that'd been created naturally by the wind. Another hiss left his open maw, this one more pronounced and loud enough to attract his trainer's attention.
"Sevvvv..." Kasimir rasped at the female as he uncoiled himself with deliberately slow movements. She was smaller than he was, more slenderly built, but at a glance she appeared around his age. The seviper swished his swordlike tail with a degree of grace and he weaved closer to the ekans, swaying side to side exaggeratedly so to show off his muscular physique in a boastful display for the female.
"Kas, where are you---" Kristmar paused and spotted the ekans, his hands still in the middle of tying his hair back into a messy ponytail. "Oh."
This is just some extra info and stuff regarding how I use this wild template. I've said a few times that it's free to use on Calamity, but if you use it off site, PM me and place a credit on the bottom ;u; that's my only request.
The two coloured lines above are the pkmn's type. Okay there's two coloured lines but here they're both green obv.
Sprites that are wider than 100px (104 to be exact :'D) will overlap the text section, use the margin-right attribute in the img style tag to manually center it.
The following code is what's in the health bar. The width is 100px to make it easier for those that use a damage calc. 60% health left? Put the width at 60px. Keep it green (#7AC74C, grass) or change the colour to #F7D02C (electric) for med damage (< 50% health) and #C22E28 (fighting) for crit damage if you want (< 20% health).
Health or status changes? They're the same div as the pkmn name and pkmn ability boxes. Put them in whichever order you prefer. Leave them plain or colour the health changes: paralyzed (F7D02C, electric), burnt (EE8130, fire), poisoned (A33EA1, poison), frozen (96D9D6, ice), asleep (6390F0, water), seeded (7AC74C, grass), infatuated (D685AD, fairy), confused (E2BF65, ground), cursed (735797, ghost) and fainted (C22E28, fighting). Idk if there's more than that. Held items can also use this same div box in the case it applies. This template version shows all of them so they can be observed.
This div is for the pkmn's moves. Egg moves can be put in italics. The border-left colour hex is the move's typing and it's from the hex colour code list from above.
