ENDINGS WITHOUT END ► it seems paper-thin ◄ |
The teen sighed as he walked outside of the pokecenter once again, starting to wonder if the nurses inside was growing tired of seeing him. They always appeared to have a cheery mood, wishing him a safe journey each time and telling him how they'd love to see him again, as weird as that sounded if you really thought about it. Still, he'd been training with Spike and had even managed to acquire a new pokemon to his team, wanting to make sure both of them were at the top of their game before he ran of searching for more wild pokemon. He just wanted to be certain he was as strong as he could possibly be before he'd venture forward and with Euka still being so new, he wanted a chance to let the little guy warm up to him as well. The tiny, gel-like creature was still just a tad apprehensive, but he'd like to think he was making some progress, the pokemon no longer wanting to return to his pokeball the moment he released him and instead was floating along beside him, curiously looking around at the sights of the small town of Odale as they walked. "See? This isn't so bad." he spoke to the solosis who drifted a bit closer to his trainer when other people got too close. He had some attitude when it came to battles, for sure, but he was a bit timid as well, wary of strangers. At least he was more comfortable sticking close to Dex now? He supposed.. But not wanting the pokemon to get too uncomfortable, he reached down and scooped up Euka in his arms, holding him up to his chest as he continued through the town. While a bit confused at first, he'd settled into his arms and simply chose to enjoy the ride. Dex chuckled at the sight. "I guess we could explore a bit..." he mused out loud, mostly to himself. After finally arriving at the town, he hadn't really taken the chance to just check out what all was there, going straight to the pokecenter before venturing back out to the field to train. Euka gave a faint coo of which he assumed could only be agreement since he hadn't put up much of a fuss, so with that settled he decided to wander around the town and see what all it had to offer. If nothing else, he could at least figure out which way he should head since there were now two routes he could take. He probably should have asked Kohaku before they'd separated, but he knew very well he wouldn't have even tried, wanting to save any pride he had left. He shook his head at the thought but continued on, confident he'd be able to figure it out on his own. @open // FEEL FREE TO JUMP RIGHT IN // BOINK OF GS |
