It was only a month ago that Aleks moved to the Hoenn region, and within the last week he had been inducted into Team Aqua. While he wasn't truly looking to bring the world any harm or trouble, it was their admiration for all things water that motivated him to join. Walking within a large recreation room within their base, Aleks saw an extremely large pool before him, along with many tables and seats set up for everyone in their ranks to enjoy some time off together—even their pokemon were invited. Releasing his two pokeballs, Alek exposed them to anyone who cared to listen. "Come on out you guys."
Released from his only two occupied pokeballs was Skipper the Oshawott, and Brolaf the Slowpoke. Ushering them towards the water, Aleks stripped down to nothing but swim-shorts, stretching a little bit before making a dive into the water. "Come on Skipper, let''s have a race." Whilst the Oshawott dived into the water with him, the Slowpoke merely walked towards the water's edge, turning around so he could dip his tail in the water. '...Does he think he's gonna catch a Shellder in here, of all places?'
With anyone able to watch, Aleks and his pokemon lined up against the starting point of the pool. "First across and back is the winner, alright?" Skipper agreed with an "Osha!", and off they went. While Aleks seemed to have a better start, Skipper seemed to pick up his pace as they went along. Just barely reaching the end before Skipper, Aleks could tell as they turned face that his pokemon was likely to win—and he did, noticing Skipper standing on the floor as he came to touch the finish line. "Good job, Skipper!" He high-fived the Oshawott.
"Looks like someone decided to show up." With his Oshawott giving them a curious look, Aleks lifted himself out of the water so he could sit at the water's edge and dry off a bit, though his feet still dangled in the water below. "It's a pool party. Didn't you hear about it at all?" For him, Aleks would never forget something like this if he knew it was going on. Any opportunity presented to him that involved getting in the water, he was all for it. Perhaps this guy wasn't the same?
"So, uh, what's your name..friend?" You could tell by the way he voiced the last word that Aleks didn't quite think of him as a friend. At least not yet, anyway. Most everyone in this organization was some form of criminal, exempt Aleks. He was used to cooperating with the authorities, and this sudden change of pace was concerning to him. Though, at the end of the day they were just as enthusiastic about all things water as him—so how bad could it really be to work with them?
[attr=class, ashes] he's late. not obscenely late, but it's about fifteen minutes into the time that the pool party started and cain's still struggling to pack all of his things together. swimsuit, goggles, towel -- he stuffs all of it under the crook of his arm and races down to where the pool is supposed to be.
their's not many people yet, but cain's goig to enjoy this regardless. he runs towards them, dropping his things along the way and leaping over their heads. "canonball!" he yells in a cliche-ed manner and tucks his legs in.
the water that greets him feels like a slap to the face. he's engulfed into it, the coldness chilling him to his very limbs. with a great huff cain breaks the surface of the water, like a model. with a flip of his head he brings his hair over to the site.

"Not much, just chillin out." While the other member of Team Aqua was rather shy, this one seemed to thrive as the center of attention. "I couldn't miss the pool party, you know?" It was a rhetorical question that Aleks shared to show heavy interest in all things water.
"So, what are your names? I only joined a week ago, so I haven't really gotten to know anyone by name as of yet. Exempt the leader, of course." Though, even then it was hard to remember their name. It was something that started with an "R", but that was as far has he could account for the name. "My name is Aleksei, but you should just call me Aleks for short. Only my family and old friends really refer to me as Aleksei, or my surf pals." And to be honest, Aleks wanted to keep it that way. Those who called him Aleksei were much closer to him, emotionally and otherwise. He wasn't particularly close to anyone in Team Aqua, and neither was he very fond of their drastic measures taken to ensure their plans work.

A pool party? How could you not expect Iggy to make an appearance at a pool party? At the first whisper of it, the guy had dashed to a changing room to ditch his clothes (just casually wearing a pair of jammers under them). He did his stretching routine in private as well. It was important to him sometimes to make things look effortless. He didn't want to hurt himself swimming, but he still wanted to come off as carefree. [break][break] Iggy had been hanging out at the Aqua base for a few days, mostly just lounging around. Were he to be given an assignment, he would probably go out and complete it. His days, however, were filled more with swimming and working out than working. He didn't like routine, but taking care of his body was one thing Iggy wouldn't let up. Well, not necessarily taking care of it, but making it look nice. So what if he was vain? Vanity could get you plenty of things if you used it right. [break][break] Once he was ready to join the heralded festivities, Iggy charged out of the changing room and into the pool area. With a shout of "Iggy is here!" the man dove into the pool seamlessly. His Staryu had been sent out of its pokeball right before he jumped, appearing above the water and splashing down to join him. After a few seconds, Iggy's head surfaced and he laughed heartily. If the noise didn't get him attention, Iggy would find other ways soon.

summary
- Speed was sent out! - Iggy used Dive!
- someone should probably put some music on so this party can get started
