Giving a quick, little whistle, Kris caught his gible's wandering attention as he carefully hoisted his satchel up better on his shoulder before opting to just carry it in his hands. He patted the back of his thigh as he walked, motioning for the dragon to follow.
"It's only a couple of minutes away... you must've walked straight past it," he said with a teasing lilt to his voice, heading towards the pokécenter. Cradling the charmander egg through his satchel, he could almost feel its warmth pulsing through both the soft blanket that swaddled it and the tougher material of his bag. "C'mon, Dei, don't dawdle off. It's getting dark."
