hello calamity! we're nearing the two months mark in a few weeks. how time flies! right now we have two things going on that need your participation. the first is an activity check! it is impotant that you check in so you don't lose your face claim. the second is the otm nomiations! we're doing it a bit different than last time. so please submit your nominations in. a vote thread will be up in the next few days. there will also be a formal event coming very soon, so keep your eye out for that. keep being cool!
we're currently about to host calamity's first contest in slatepor. trainers are flocking to the city to see, the city's been trying to get good pr since the gala, and it seems to be working! they're asking for both coordinators and volunteer judges to sign up.

friends are optional, so long as they have their uses then elijah will continue to be amicable to them, else they can easily be cast aside to save elijah's skin. which is to say, in his eyes they serve little more than cannon fodder for his next scheme. perhaps an old friend, with as much dealings in the underground as elijah does. trading one soul for the other to achieve their means, though they wonder who will backstab the other first. it is all very exciting.
lovers are plenty, one night stands aren't all that uncommon, and he has urges too. he might indulge in a passion or two, before promptly showing them the door. they should know their place of course, as if elijah woukd be the type to settle. maybe someone who doesn't get the message, who wants to get their heart to be played with and torn out.
enemies are to die for. for slashing and hacking, to whet his wits and brutality.

Enemies who have a one night fling perhaps? One moment they are fighting and saying "I hate you, I hope you croak," then somehow it randomly leads to hardcore kissu, but then someone pushes someone off 'cause jfc I think both of our characters are dominant, and maybe they develop like a strong relationship that is unknown to the both of them? Like, perhaps if per'se Raizel were to sneak in Magma's Base to put a stop to their evil plan and he runs into Elijah and Elijah is all, "WHY THE FUCK ARE YOU HERE? GET THE FUCK OUT BEFORE THEY SEE YOU FUCKIN' SHIT!" Elijah doesn't know why he helped him, but he just did. So like...a best frenemy relationship? That could be pretty interesting, and maybe even rivals? From time to time they battle each other, run into each other exploring a place, and maybe he comes to watch Raizel perform in Pokemon Contest from time to time just to see him? uvu These two could become great friends in the end who simply hat each other at the same time.
Like... Best frenemies with benefits? LOL Both dominant is right, it's probably mostly wrestling each other for who gets to top lmao. If you wanna make it a sort of regular thing they could just fight every time np, or settle it some other way, like, rock paper scissors lol. Then they just tease each other about stuff they do in bed, np Sounds good, I like the love hate relationship that will advance to 'only i can hurt you' and it's kind of a protective enemy kind of deal? Elijah will definitely come and watch him, just to use as more material to tease him with, even if does think that Raizel is getting pretty good and everything, he doesn't wanna feed the man's ego.
So kind of a established hate relationship, yes? What should their thread be like?
Well, there first thread could possibly be a battle between their Pokemon? Perhaps they meet somewhere such as Rustboro City and he can encounter Team Magma trying to incorporate young people who go to the Pokemon Trainer's School into Team Magma and Rai is all "water u doin' tryin' to get these poor little children into?" and they can possibly encounter each other there~?
Sounds great, in addition eli could try to recruit raz and he be like 'lolno you idiot' and then it's a bunch of insulting and then battling. i guess whoever wins gets bragging rights from then on, and onto become the best/worst frenemies with benefits every. 8) Imma wait for the linear route change, if thats the case we can defs start at rustboro.
Cant quite tell what they'd be considering im sure Eli would have probably seen Nikki around during the time he was an Admin in Team Magma XD so it'd be interesting to see how he'd react to seeing him apparently not on the mission he was supposed to be on and just living life with his new pokemon
I think these two could get on pretty well >) Kris is from the city and isn't for these boring side towns where a good day for them is a day where nothing happens. Monotony is a drag and it's something he'd really tries not to fall into. Partner in crime, you ask? >') Kris would like a shot at that. Anything to add a little more zest to his current journey through Hoenn. He's daring verging on plain reckless, he doesn't think everything through enough as he should and what sounds like a good idea is a good idea until he's proven wrong and made to learn the hard way :'D And even then he'd consider doing it again if it was worth it.
Kris just wants some fun o/ if it includes stirring up some trouble, mild hooliganism and brushes with the law, he's alright with that too, seeing as he was in magma for a bit over two years and got up to some questionable things during his stint with them.
Niklaus Geroux & Elijah Castaire Oooh, sounds good. There would be that weird feeling about seeing someone familiar but then realize that they're not who you thought they were. I don't know how close you want them, bu if they were kind of close, Elijah would feel sort of betrayed that Nik just left without a word, and if they weren't close then Elijah would be like 'WELP, TIME TO REPORT YOUR ASS' unless he's given a good incentive not to. Either seems fine, but of course the second one would mean that Nik would actively have to be on the run from Team Magma, and maybe Aqua too, depending on how well known he is?
kristmar mortensen & @azel YES, A PARTNER IN CRIME. They could hit marts at night for fun, trash the place and take all the chocolate bars or something, lol. Maybe they could have met at night, when they were targeting the same place, or kris spots Azel. And then argue that this was their heist and one of them should just fuck off, except the argument lasts the whole night and get the cops called on them so neither of them gets the prize. So to make up for their lost loot, they decide to partner up for one, which they find that they're actually pretty good at and decide to be partners?
I think the most likely case scenario would be Kris running in on Azel getting up to stuff he shouldn't and sort of letting himself be roped into it >') be it that they start arguing (bc, mannn, why only take the sweets/candy/chocolate >U he was gonna buy some of that) and get lumped in together so they both end up having to make an escape. It's all a big misunderstanding but then there's no denying that old flare of adrenaline that accompanied it 8I Then they can hide somewhere and Kris can just... laugh 8U it's been a while since he's last had to hide from the police. It'd be a good icebreaker though. At the beginning he might be the slightest bit hesitant bc he's possibly be getting in a little too over his head here and does he want that? :T but Kris'd be down for trouble |'D or at least someone able to have a laugh with at the bar and play petty card games with wagers. Kris is the playful kind that likes teasing in not the friendliest of ways once he gets comfortable but if Azel is alright with that and is able to handle a joke, it'd make him a lot more likeable.
I like the idea that maybe they'd been sorta close during his time at Team Magma. Their personalities has similarities so Nik would have found Eli pretty interesting at first and then warmed up to him? Maybe at some point when he was beginning to notice that his desire's didn't align with Magma's he came to Eli with some doubts or tried to? -snickers- i forgot to mention kristmar mortensen is also traveling with him and is also an ex member of team magma so there's that little drama to add as well cause he took someone with him to travel so it'd maybe add to the betrayal?

Niklaus Geroux & Elijah Castaire I can feel a whole 'WHY DID YOU GUYS LEAVE ME?' like their a group. Then again Elijah wouldn't leave, he's in Magma for his own reasons, and he doesn't feel all too guilty about kidnapping kids and stealing pokemon or even the worse stuff. So i guess right now its more like Elijah wondering why Nik and Kris left, even though I guess Nik could have 'ranted' a little about not liking the job anymore, but then those conversations would be somewhat vague, especially if they were talking in the magma base. He'd joke about ratting them out but probably wouldn't really do it.
kristmar mortensen & @azel unfortunately i'm gonna drop azel soon, so no plot with them anymore 8(
Frenemies with a mostly enemy side? c': I know she's pretty young, but that doesn't make her any less annoying, especially if she knows that he's Magma. While she does take interest in others and how they work, if Elijah pushes her away and berates her enough she will go out of her way to make his life hell (to the best of her 13 year old ability). It would be kind of comedic to see him getting worked up over 'Home Alone' style tricks and torture (silly little pranks, sometimes escalating into bigger inconveniences). Just a thought, you are by no means obligated to like it ; w ;
alright, if there is anything that i know about these two - they're going to pick and nit at one another. sarcastic personalities, snipping tongues, and even worse their penchant for one night stands. pretty sure that max would never sleep with eli, but it'd be funny if she saw some poor soul being kicked out by him and just decides to goad at him. the two of them are in magma too, so if they were paired up for a mission or something it would mostly be max being an annoying shit and elijah being an annoying shit. i think they could find a common ground with one another and maybe discovers that the other isn't that bad. constantly fighting for a spot as alpha, pretty sure it'd get under one of their skins if the other is just constantly there. kinda of a different plot from him and cas seeing as max is purposefully being annoying.
maximus prime & Elijah Castaire Judging by how you describe it, they'd probably never get a mission done, or if they did they'd fight over who gets more credit, LOL. But what it sounds like to me is that they're both ambitious in Magma, the two probably going head to head to try and get higher positions, get things done in the team to shit on aqua and as many people as possible. They'd never admit that the other person is any good, but constantly criticize each other. Kind of like a tough love rivalry thing. I like it. :I
